Emily: We need another round of tests on Mr. Lancaster.

Epiphany: Far be it for me to contradict a doctor, "but" this patient has had blood work and a battery of tests this morning. You might want to take a look.

Emily: Okay. Uh -- of course. Yeah, you're right. Thank you. My mistake, Epiphany.

Epiphany: No, no, you're being too reasonable. You have to start thinking like a doctor instead of an intern, which means that what you should do is insist on your own round of tests -- even if the patient doesn't need it -- so that you can take the diagnosis.

Emily: Hey. You have any interest in performing an entire battery of unnecessary tests on Mr. Lancaster?

Elizabeth: Why not. It'll keep my mind off of worrying about Lulu.

Emily: Hey, Elizabeth, don't worry. She's going to be fine, okay? Although, Nikolas didn't need to throttle Logan Hayes.

Elizabeth: Do you think Georgie was exaggerating?

Emily: I don't know, she's pretty reasonable, you know? And Nikolas has been edgy, he's been volatile lately, he goes off just like that.

Nikolas: Hi. Hey. Any word on Lulu?

Emily: Hey. No, not yet. What are you doing here?

Nikolas: Oh, I decided to come to that board meeting after all.

Emily: Okay. You sure you don't want to wind down a little bit? Georgie told me that you jumped Logan.

Nikolas: Well, after what he did to Lulu, I practically had to stand in line.

Emily: I need to order that second round of tests after all. The patient's spiking a fever and I need to check the white count.

Epiphany: I'll take care of it.

Emily: Thank you.

Elizabeth: I'm impressed. You're getting the hang of ordering nurses around after all.

Emily: Are you kidding? Epiphany still terrifies me.

Elizabeth: Yeah, but she's a good nurse.

Emily: Yeah. Hey, Georgie? Um, I spoke with Nikolas, and he didn't seem to think that the fight with Logan was any big deal.

Georgie: Oh -- okay. I wouldn't exactly call it a fight. Um -- it was more Nikolas grabbing Logan and throwing him down and choking him.

Elizabeth: "Choking" is a pretty strong word.

Georgie: I completely agree. Nikolas was on top of Logan and had his forearm into his throat, and Logan s gasping for air -- I think it constitutes choking.

Nikolas: Hi.

Emily: Hey.

Nikolas: Hey.

Emily:How was your meeting?

Nikolas: Pretty uneventful. What do you say we call it a day and go home together, huh?

Emily: I'd love to, but I have so much work to do here.

Nikolas: Yeah. Okay. No problem. Just -- hey, Georgie? Once again, I apologize for the incident with Logan.

Georgie: There -- there's no need to apologize, Nikolas. I completely understand why you would be ups with Logan after what happened to Lulu.

Nikolas: Uh-huh. Yeah, well, he got what he deserved.

Alexis: Yes, I got your message. I will meet you at the Metro Court. That's all. Thanks, Jerry. Hi.

Nikolas: I sincerely hope I misheard you and you didn't actually just agree to go meet Jerry Jacks.

Alexis: I'm an attorney, meetings are part of the deal.

Nikolas: Oh, okay. So he -- so he didn't torture or poison me, or hold me or Emily or the father of your child -- or anyone else, for that matter -- hostage, and he didn't blow up the lobby of youst friend's hotel? That didn't happen?

Alexis: May I remind you that Jerry is initially a client of mine because I did that --

Nikolas: I don't care. How can you continue to ignore what this man has done and consistently seek him out? What the hell's the matter with you?

Alexis: I appreciate that you're in a bad mood, but would you mind not taking it out on me?

Elizabeth: Hey, I'm about to go off duty. Any word from Lulu yet?

Emily: Uh, no.

Elizabeth: I'm checking my messages now. It's Lulu.

Emily: Where is she?

Elizabeth: In a barn on County Road 91.

Emily: How'd she get out to 91?

Elizabeth: I don't know, but I'm going to go pick her up.

Nikolas: Look, I'm just -- I'm concerned about Lulu right now. She's -- she's vanished because of some loser.

Alexis: I'm sorry about Lulu. I am, but that isn't my fault. So if you could please --

Nikolas: I know, but it's just -- the difference is, is that Lulu is 19, she's allowed to make dumb mistakes. You're an accomplished lawyer with Ivy League degrees, with three daughters, but your taste in men is actually worse than Lulu'S.

Alexis: Okay, maybe so. Again, Jerry is my client. We're not romantically involved, so I --

Nikolas: I don't care. You -- you defend him every opportunity you get, and not just professionally, but also personally. You -- you dream up all these reasons to meet with him, you're always glad to see him -- Jerry this, Jerry that -- when any sane person would run in the other direction.

Alexis: Now I'm insane?

Nikolas: And the saddest part of it is the worse he is for you, the more attracted you are to him.

Alexis: You know what? I'm not going to waste my breath rehashing my romantic life with you anymore. You might keep in mind that you've made a mistake or two -- Courtney springs to mind.

Nikolas: Oh, wait -- no, no. You know what? I am so sick of your arrogance and your hypocrisy. You talk down to everyone, all the while ignoring your own destructive behavior -- like your ridiculous marriage to Ric Lansing, your ridiculous relationship with Sonny, your --

Alexis: I have no idea where this is coming from. I had no idea that you resented me this much.

Nikolas: What I -- what I resent is you getting involved with yet another psycho, and me probably having to clean up the mess!

Alexis: Okay, well, this conversation's over.

Nikolas: Hey, don't walk away from me.
