Nikolas: You all ready to be an intern again?
Emily: Yeah, duty calls.
Nikolas: Any chance you can slip away for a few minutes and meet me at the Metro Court?
Emily: You worked out a deal for the office space?
Nikolas: I did. All I have to do is sign the lease.
Emily: Yeah?
Nikolas: And I could certainly use some help with the decor.
Emily: You could, huh?
Nikolas: Mm-hmm.
Emily: Well, office decor isn't exactly my specialty.
Nikolas: I'm sure you know more than I do, though.
Emily chuckles.
Emily: Is there any chance you're making up excuses to see me?
Nikolas: No, no, not at all. Why would I do that?
Emily giggles.
Nikolas: You know, you are the main reason why I'm moving the office to the Metro Court, because it's closer to the hospital, we can -- we can have coffee on your breaks, lunch and dinner when you can get away -- if you get away.
Emily: Yes -- but sometimes I can't, okay?
Nikolas: I know, I know. No -- but if I'm in town, I may actually get to see you when you're awake and coherent.
Emily: Are you feeling abandoned, Alfred?
Nikolas: Oh, I'm sure Alfred will be relieved not to have me under foot. He doesn't have the time to be both butler and personal secretary, do you?
Alfred: On the contrary, Sir, I fear that you'll find the drawbacks of the offices at the Metro Court will outweigh the advantages.
Nikolas: Nah.
Emily: Well, I hope not. It'll be so much fun to see you during the day. Okay, I've got to go, I'm late.
Nikolas: Okay.
Emily: Yeah?
Nikolas: All right, so you'll help me with the decorating, right?
Emily: Sure, but I'm warning you -- no gargoyles.
Nikolas: Okay. Bye.
Emily: Bye.
Nikolas: Oh, cheer up, Alfred. Come on, moving the offices in town will be a lot less work for you and a lot more fun for me.
Jerry: Nikolas Cassadine, how wonderful to see you. How are you feeling? No trouble breathing? Plenty of energy?
Nikolas: Oh, because of the -- that's -- that's pretty fun-- I can't believe that Jax actually lets you live here.
Jerry: Well, I do miss your home, I have to admit. How is Emily and little Spencer?
Nikolas: Just stay away from my family.
Marty: Can I be of assistance here?
Jerry: No, no, no, it's fine. I think Mr. Cassadine needs a stiff drink, or maybe --
Nikolas: Stay away from my family.
Marty: Mr. Cassadine -- please, Sir.
Jerry: You know what? If you want to protect your family, Prince Cassadine, I suggest you get this aggression under control. It could get you in serious trouble, don't you think?
Jax: I understand you're upset about an office space? What seems to be the problem?
Nikolas: Yes, I come by to close the deal, only to find out that my entire space has been leased to another party? What --
Jax: Let me find out what happened, okay?
Nikolas: No, I know what happened. I get into an altercation with your brother, so you pull the lease -- that's what happened.
Jax: I was thinking more along the lines of computer glitch.
Nikolas: Compu-- come on, you've been protecting your brother for months now, come on.
Jax: Nikolas, for your information, my brother and I aren't speaking.
Nikolas: Okay, so, what, you're going to give me the space?
Jax: I don't have a problem giving you a space. Now, let me just find out, okay?
Emily: Hi. I have about two minutes and I can't be late for rounds, but I can't wait to see your new office.
Nikolas: Well, there's a bit of a problem with the -- with the lease here.
Jax: We'll do our best to get you another space as soon as possible.
Nikolas: Are you going to tell me what happened?
Jax: Well, somebody from your office called just this morning to back out. So my company didn't cancel, yours did.
Nikolas: Yes, I'll hold.
Alfred: The contractor left an estimate for the barn renovations. It seems excessive, if I may say so -- and you have four messages from Europe, two from Hong Kong.
Nikolas: All right, we'll deal with that later.
Alfred: Certainly, Sir.
Nikolas: Yes, who -- who canceled the lease on the Metro Court offices? It -- it wasn't cleared by me, I didn't approve it. Who -- Alfred? You canceled the lease?
Alfred: Yes, Sir, I did.
Nikolas: Why?
