Emily: Invitation for Mr. Jason Morgan. We're having a black and white ball at Wyndemere -- just your kind of party.

Jason: Do you want me to come?

Emily: Of course. But my feelings won't be hurt if you say no. I just wanted you to know you're invited. Nikolas is going to announce an endowment to the hospital in Dad's name.

Jason: Alan would appreciate that.

Emily: I wish Dad could be there. Like I wish that I could have a waltz with my big brother but, you know, I'd never submit you to that kind of torture, and I'm sure that Nikolas would be more than happy to dance with me.

Jason: Is Nikolas going to be able to handle all this stuff or --

Emily: You know, he's going to have more tests, and Patrick's pretty confident that he's going to be able to be diagnosed.

Jason: Okay. Well, you just let me know if you need anything.

Emily: Okay, thanks, I will. How about you? Have you heard from Elizabeth?

Jason: No. Uh -- how --

Emily chuckles.

Jason: How is she?

Emily: Yesterday was a little tough. She and Lucky had the divorce mediation.

Sam: Okay -- um -- I got a cut on my leg when I was canoeing on location, and the nurse said the stitches are due to come out today, so --

Elizabeth: If you wait in the lounge, I'll call you an intern.

Sam: Why are you throwing me attitude? I mean, you can't possibly care that I'm sleeping with your husband.

Elizabeth: One more notch on your bedpost.

Sam: You are in absolutely no position to criticize.

Elizabeth: I don't seduce other people's husbands for payback.

Sam: Your husband happens to be a wonderful man, not that you bothered to notice.

Elizabeth: Lucky is hurt and angry and vulnerable. He has no idea what a lying bitch you are.

Sam: And who hurt him? Who made him angry, who made him vulnerable? That would be you, the biggest lying hypocrite of them all.

Nikolas: I don't think this is the time or place for this conversation, Sam.

Sam: Why are you defending Elizabeth when she hurt your brother?

Nikolas: Look, she's working right now. It's not acceptable to talk about this here.

Sam: Some people might find it unacceptable that Elizabeth married Lucky without even bothering to tell him that she slept with Jason and -- she's stalking him. Coming up with any excuse in the book to spend time with him.

Nikolas: Sam, Sam! What happens between Elizabeth and Lucky is their own business.

Sam: Hello -- I was living with Jason at the time.

Nikolas: Just let it go.

Sam: Thank you, Cousin Nikolas. Where would I be without you?

Elizabeth: Oh -- thanks. She just walked right up and started in on me.

Nikolas: It seems that she's upset about more than just losing Jason. She just can't let it go.

Jason: Elizabeth's divorce is none of my business.

Emily: Well, yeah, Diane probably gave you all the details.

Jason: Diane won't violate attorney/client privilege.

Emily: The point is Elizabeth is now officially free, and I helped her move into this cute little house that she's renting. Jase, you should see it.

Jason: I'm glad she's happy.

Emily: Elizabeth's about as happy as she can be while she's separated from you which isn't very happy at all. And from the way you're hurting, Jase, I can see how much you miss her, too. Love is too precious to waste, so why should you and Elizabeth be apart?

Sam: Ahem. Look, I -- I just -- I wanted to explain what you walked in on at the hospital.

Nikolas: It's not really necessary, Sam.

Sam: Yeah, I -- I understand that, but I do know that you're angry, and I have a right to how I feel.

Nikolas: I -- I don't wish to discuss this right now.

Sam: You and Emily and Lucky and Elizabeth all have been friends for a really long time and I get that, I understand that, but --

Nikolas: Shut up! Lucky threw away his entire family because of you!

Sam: Are you kidding me? That's not how it was, and --

Nikolas: That's exactly how it happened! You do not care about him --

Sam: Nikolas -- Nikolas!

Nikolas: And I'd be doing him a favor if I get rid of you! What do you think about that?
