Nikolas: Yeah, well, I'll give you something to arrest me for.
Emily: No, no, no, no.
Slaps Scott.
Emily: You pig!
Scott: Oh!
Emily: If you want to arrest someone, you arrest me. I'd be more than happy to tell a judge and jury how you threatened and harassed Nikolas.
Scott: Your boyfriend attacked two people without provocation -- I got witnesses.
Emily: Oh, so you think you can just throw your weight around because you're the special prosecutor?
Nikolas: Emily, Emily, Emily, you don't have to do this.
Nikolas: Now, don't -- don't give him any reason to file a frivolous charge against you, too, okay?
Scott: Cassadine, you're -- you're guilty of assault and battery. I don't think the law sees that as frivolous.
Nikolas: Tell me, does your son plan to testify against me?
Scott: You think you can throw some money at him and he's just going to slink away?
Nikolas: I'll tell you what I think. I think that you're feeling somewhat guilty about a son that you never knew existed. And now that he's all grown up and a big boy now, you're trying to overcompensate for that -- something that my attorney -- Alexis, as you know -- will be all too quick to point out in court. So, when that warrant for my arrest comes through, I'll be at Wyndemere.
Joyful music playing.
Emily: Remind me not to order an appetizer, main course, and chocolate soufflé the next time we go to the Metro Court.
Nikolas chuckles.
Nikolas: So just the soufflé, then?
Emily: The dinner was wonderful.
Nikolas: Well, it was --
Emily: Company -- even better.
Nikolas: Yeah -- till Scott showed up.
Emily: I'm sorry, Nikolas, I should've let you handle it. He just made me so angry.
Nikolas: Yeah. You slapped him to keep me from going into one of those rages again, didn't you?
Emily: You stayed in control.
Nikolas: Barely. What if next time when I attack someone, I actually try and kill them?
Emily: I don't think you would ever go that far.
Nikolas: Maybe I already have.
Emily: Why don't we try to reconstruct why you lost control, okay? Maybe there's some sort of trigger to your outbursts.
Nikolas: Uh -- no. No, I don't think so. Because this -- I mean, this rage -- whatever it is -- it's -- it's out of proportion to the -- to the reason. With Logan, it was obviously because of what he'd done to Lulu. But with you at the Metro Court, it was just because you had gone to Jax for help, that's it.
Emily: You were furious.
Nikolas: I know. I mean, all I really remember is -- is the anger just rising up inside me, but the rest of the argument is -- it's just a blank. Please tell me I didn't hurt you.
Emily: I don't believe you'd ever hurt me, Nikolas.
Nikolas: I wish I had your confidence. What if I lose control with you the way I did with Logan and Jerry?
Emily: See, that's my point. You got physically violent with two people that you dislike. Anyone who knows what Jerry's done to you would say that you're perfectly justified. It seems that whatever's happening to you is magnifying your anger so that it overwhelms the rational part of your brain, the part that throws up barriers and allows you to act with restraint.
Nikolas: I -- I don't know.
Emily: I'm sure when Logan humiliated Lulu, you wanted to throttle him. This chemical imbalance -- or whatever it is -- throws away those barriers that would ordinarily stop you from acting on that impulse.
Nikolas: Okay, so what you're basically saying is I'm still myself, just a little angrier?
Emily: Oh --
Nikolas chuckles.
Emily: Yeah, I can live with that.
Nikolas: I'm really sorry I yelled at you.
Emily: Apology accepted. So as long as you don't yell at me when I drag in from the hospital and leave my scrubs all over the floor --
Nikolas: Ooh, I --
Emily: Oh --
Nikolas: I don't know.
Emily: Then I think I can manage this.
Nikolas: Okay. It's a deal.
