Monica: He's very critical. One more heart attack and that would kill him.

Alan: Is your brother all right?

Emily: Yeah, Jason's fine. He -- he stayed at the hotel to look for Sam.

Monica: Well, it's a waiting game now. If he can stabilize, he just might make it through.

Tracy: Monica, how's Alan?

Monica: He's very weak. And he doesn't need any agitation.

Tracy: I'm not going to agitate him. I want him alive as much as you do.

Alan: The surgery you performed on Robin was grace under pressure.

Emily: Hmm. I just did what Patrick told me to do.

Alan: Robin owes her life to you

Emily: And I owe my career to you. Dad, I wanted to be a doctor because you showed me day in and day out how much it matters to care for people.

Alan: You don't have to flatter me.

Emily: Okay, do you remember that long weekend that we spent on Long Island --

Alan: Mm-hmm.

Emily: A few months after you and Mom adopted me? We went to that huge party with the ice sculptures. I couldn't fit in you know, all those kids were so spoiled. They were boasting about the millions their fathers were making.

Alan: Mm-hmm. The host had a heart attack.

Emily: Mm-hmm. He collapsed on the dance floor. Everybody froze. They were tolly helpless. But you -- you knelt down beside him, and you saved his life.

Alan: It was a pretty simple procedure.

Emily chuckles.

Emily: Not allowed to be modest, Dad. You were amazing. The same guy who used to make me laugh by playing Sydney the Bear was saving someone's life. That's the day I knew you were my hero.

Alan: How did I get so lucky?

Emily laughs.

Alan: Hmm, hmm, hmm.

Emily: I'm the lucky one. And that surgery I performed on Robin -- it's exactly what you would have done in my place.

Skye: How's Alan?

Monica: Oh --

Tracy: How dare you show your face?

Monica: You get out, or I will throw you out.

Monica: You have no right to be here.

Emily: Hey, Dad, see if you can get some sleep, okay? I'll be right back.

Tracy: Only family and friends are allowed to visit.

Emily: Hey, what's going on?

Monica: Skye is not welcome here and she has to leave.

Emily: Skye's family.

Tracy: Skye is a blatant opportunist who doesn't give a damn about the Quartermaines, least of all Alan.

Skye: That is a lie.

Tracy: You are as heartless as your baby's father.

Monica: No, you are worse. Alcazar has no allegiance to the family, but you call yourself a Quartermaine and you let that entire family walk into that hotel knowing full well there was something in that vault that people would literally kill for!

Skye: I had idea that was going to happen.

Monica: Oh!

Tracy: But if you had spoken up, your supposed father wouldn't be lying in there fighting for his life.

Monica: And I have to go check to his test results. You get out of here.

Tracy: I'm going to give an update to my father. You better be gone when I get back.

Skye: Alan is a wonderful, loving man. He's been more of a father to me than I could've ever have hoped for. I love him very much.

Emily: Yeah, I know. I know, Skye. Monica and Tracy are just being overprotective.

Skye: Well, I am Alan's daughter

Emily: Hmm.

Skye: Whether Tracy or Monica approve or not. I have every right to see him.

Emily: Yes, you do. So just go in there and -- and try not to upset him, okay? He's very fragile.

Skye: Thank you.

Nikolas: Hey -- hey. Listen, I just got a call from the scene. They found Elizabeth and Jason trapped in an elevator. They're fine, they're fine.

Emily: Oh, God.

Nikolas: They're digging them out as we speak. They're okay.

Emily: Okay. Um -- I'm going to go in there. I'm going to tell my dad.

Nikolas: Okay, okay.

Skye: Those gunmen were after Lorenzo's briefcase. I knew he had a dangerous shipment at the Metro Court vault, but I didn't say anything because I was trying to protect the father of my baby.

Alan: You couldn't have known an of this was going to happen.

Skye: But even after you were all taken hostage, I didn't say anything. I kept silent about what I knew -- to protect Lorenzo. I never meant to hurt you, Alan.
