Emily: Man, Spencer’s so much like you -- his dark, intelligent eyes, that princely way he waves his little fist right before the tantrum kicks in.
Nikolas: Well, my son and I -- we both know what we want.
Emily giggles.
Nikolas: I really miss this.
Emily: I know.
Nikolas: Spending an entire afternoon together -- that's -- that's nice.
Emily: And this rotation I'm in is brutal.
Nikolas: I know.
Emily: But it makes me appreciate times like this even more.
Nikolas: I'm sorry I left you alone for so long.
Emily: Hmm.
Nikolas: So --
Emily: Yes?
Nikolas: How shall we spend the rest of this fine evening?
Emily: We'll think of something.
Nikolas: Yeah.
Phone rings.
Nikolas: Is it ready? No, you know what? Don't -- don't waste my time with excuses, I want results. And don't -- don't call me back until the answer is "yes."
Emily: Whew. That sounded awfully autocratic, Prince Cassadine.
Nikolas: Well, you know, I come down here and take the call --
Emily: Mm-hmm?
Nikolas: And interrupt our time together, and he still hasn't scheduled the closing.
Emily: Yeah, okay. So while whoever that was is scrambling around to do whatever it is that you said, we're here together now and we have until tomorrow morning, so let's just make every moment count.
Nikolas: Okay. Well, there's -- there's that new restaurant on the lake.
Emily: Mm-hmm?
Nikolas: We could take a cruise there, have dinner together.
Emily: Ooh. Only if you let me drive.
Emily: Will you help me into this, please?
Nikolas: I'd rather help you out of it, really.
Emily: Hmm. Well, you will, you will, later -- after our dinner on the lake, and after you let me drive the boat.
Nikolas: There you go. I -- well, I don't really think that's such a good idea.
Emily: Why not?
Nikolas sighs.
Emily: Okay, okay, so I went a little too fast last time -- just a little, a little.
Nikolas: You nearly -- you nearly flipped the boat, Emily.
Emily: Uh-huh, but I didn’t.
Nikolas: I don't know how someone who is so cautious behind the wheel of a car can suddenly turn into a speed demon when driving the boat.
Emily: Because that's just the way I learned to drive.
Nikolas: Well, then you'll need a jacket.
Emily: Uh-huh, and a scarf.
Nikolas: And a life --
Phone rings.
Emily: Yes.
Nikolas: And a life vest. Let me -- I need to get that. I'll -- I'll be right out. Carl. What are you -- what do you -- what do you mean? I told you not to call me until the deal -- you know what? I'm -- I'm sick of your incompetence. The deal's over, okay? I -- look, I'm just -- listen, I'm having some -- I'm having some problems on this end, and -- just -- just do what you can, and call me in the morning. Thank you.
Emily: Hey, everything okay?
Nikolas: Yeah. Yeah, let's go. Yeah.
