Monica asks Emily to observe an operation but Emily lies about having plans with a friend so she can go see Sonny. Later, Emily arrives at the hotel to find flowers awaiting her. Sonny arrives at the room and they chat. He asks her to pick a date and then promises her that by then there will be no more sneaking around and no more violence. They are playing around when the door is thrown open and shots are fired at them.
Nikolas comes by John's room and asks Carly if he can hold him. Carly refuses to let him hold the baby and Nikolas gets upset and accuses Carly of using John to furthur her own "agenda". Later he comes back after Carly is gone and talks to John.
