Nikolas berates Carly and Jax for almost having sex so recently after Courtney's death. Jax and Nikolas get in a pissing match and Carly throws Nikolas out. Nikolas then shows up at the hospital to see John. Elizabeth tells him that he can't because there is a restraining order preventing him from seeing the baby. Alexis arrives at the hospital and Nikolas asks her to have the restraining order lifted. She tells him he needs to speak to Jax. Nikolas continues to have arguments with everyone.
Emily lies on Sonny's couch, after hearing footsteps, and states that she will not open her eyes until "he kisses her". She opens her eyes to see Jason standing there. She tells him that she thought that Morgan was coming and they like to play Sleeping Beauty. Jason asks about Emily's trip and she tells him she was in Arizona with a friend. After awhile, Carly shows up and tells Emily about Nikolas' behavior earlier in the evening. They argue about who needs to do something to remedy the situation. After Sonny comes home, Emily tells him about what happened with Jason and then Carly. Sonny is very persistent that they keep their relationship a secret.
The following transcript is from the Carly and Emily scene regarding Nikolas:
Carly: Wow. I'm surprised to see you. Weren't you away on a trip?
Emily: Just got back.
Carly: Headed right over, did you?
Emily: Mm-hmm. Yep. I came over to see Michael and Morgan.
Carly: Right. So, is Sonny here?
Emily: I haven't seen him.
Carly: Are the boys upstairs?
Emily: Yeah, I just put them to bed.
Carly: Really?
Emily: I'm sorry, I didn't know you were coming.
Carly: Well, I kind of want to take them home with me.
Emily: All right, no problem. I'll go get them.
Carly: Okay, wait a second. You know, you're getting way ahead of yourself. If I wanted to go wake up my boys, rest assured, I'd go do it. But since they're sleeping, I'll leave them there, okay? You know, I'm glad I ran into you.
Emily: Oh, really?
Carly: Mm-hmm.
Emily: Well, I really couldn't tell.
Carly: Something's going on, and I'm not sure if you know anything about it. But Nikolas is having a big, fat, public meltdown, and you need to do something to stop it.
Emily: I spoke with Nikolas this afternoon. He's struggling, but I'm sure he's going to be okay.
Carly: Then you don't know what you're talking about. He just showed up at my house. Jax and I were there, and we were in the middle of a close moment. And Nikolas barged right in. He started hurling insults; he started another fight with Jax. He's out of control.
Emily: Carly, I don't understand. Why do you suddenly care what happens to Nikolas?
Carly: I don't care, Emily, but I thought you might.
Emily: No, what you thought was that you'd get me worried about Nikolas to distract me from Sonny, even though we've told you repeatedly that there's nothing going on.
Carly: I hate to bust your little theory, but every thought I have isn't about Sonny and who he happens to be sleeping with. I thought you might want to help Nikolas, that's all.
Emily: If you and Jax were interrupted in such a close moment, you obviously have his ear. You're so concerned about Nikolas? You intercede with Jax and get him to agree to let Nikolas see Little John. You don't need me for that.
