Nikolas comes to see Carly and Jax to apologize for Helena's interruption the previous evening and to offer the gardens at Wyndmere for John's christening. Carly informs him that they have reserved the gazebo in the park for the event. Nikolas apologizes for stopping by unannounced and asks if it is okay that he attends John's christening. They agree and Nikolas leaves. Carly tells Jax that they need to set boundries to keep Nikolas out of John's life for good. Later, at the hospital Nikolas asks Kelly to help him prove that he is a father. He makes up a story about some servant saying he is the father of her child. Kelly tells him that she has had her own doubts about John's paternity. She agrees to help him.
Lainey arrives at Greystone and Emily explains how she will make an exit so that she can be with Sonny to "evaluate" him. Sonny comes in and Emily explains why Lainey is there. Just as they are about to sit down to lunch, Emily recieves a phone call and makes a hasty exit. After awhile, Emily returns and joins Lainey and Sonny. When Sonny goes to get dessert, the ladies talk about him and his mental state. After Lainey leaves, Sonny tells Emily about his time with Lainey.
