Nikolas stops in to see Emily about the property paperwork and Emily informs him that he can't drop in just to see her anymore. A little tension is in the air.
Sonny continues to go downhill and Emily talks about his condition with Max and Jason while Sonny goes berserk in the garden.
The following transcript is from the Nikolas and Emily scenes:
Nikolas: Hi.
Emily: Hi. Max said you wanted to see me?
Nikolas: Yeah, the paperwork from the property. I -- I feel a little foolish. We never -- we never signed anything, so --
Emily: No, no, no, that's ok. Uh -- where do I sign?
Nikolas: I'm sorry, is something wrong?
Emily: No, it's just you could've called.
Emily: You could've easily dealt with this at the hospital in the morning.
Nikolas: I'm sorry, I didn't realize it was a problem for me to come to your home.
Emily: I never said it was a problem. Nikolas, you're my ex-husband. It has to make Sonny a little uncomfortable --
Nikolas: What, did he say something to you?
Emily: No, I'm just trying to be sensitive, respecting Sonny in his own home. I don't want to throw my previous relationship with you in his face.
Nikolas: Of course, absolutely. It won't happen again. Thanks for taking care of this.
Max: I'm sorry about that. I didn't know what to tell him. It's a good thing Sonny was out.
Emily: Yeah, don't worry. I told Nikolas to call first next time. Where is Sonny, anyway?
