Nikolas saves Maxie's life as Emily talks him through rescue breathing. Courtney decides to go through with her C-Section with Jax's help although the doctor is reluctant and fears for Courtney's life and that of her baby.

Nikolas: Talk to me. What does it feel like? Does it hurt? Are you in any pain? Oh, God! I got you. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Help! Please, somebody, help! Can anyone hear me in here?

Emily: Nikolas, is that you?

Nikolas: Emily -- Emily, it's me. It's Maxie. I -- I don't know, I think she's having a heart attack.

Nikolas: She said she was having trouble breathing and then she fainted. She's unconscious now.

Emily: All right, check to see if she has a pulse.

Nikolas: It's faint -- faint, and I -- I can't tell if she's even breathing.

Emily: Nikolas, you're going to have to perform rescue breathing.

Nikolas: What do I do?

Emily: You're going to lay her flat on the floor. Make sure that her airway is clear. Pinch her nose, and give her two breaths every five seconds.

Nikolas: Okay.

Emily: Are you with me?

Nikolas: Yeah, hold on.

Emily: Is she responding?

Nikolas: No, it's not working.

Emily: All right. Listen, just keep doing it. We need help over here! Come on -- a sick girl's trapped inside, we have to get her out. Come on, we need help, somebody!

Nikolas: Come on, Maxie, you can do it.

Mac: What are you doing? Get away from her. Get away from the door!

Emily: Mac -- Mac, we're trying to get the doors open! All right, listen to me, Maxie's stuck inside with Nikolas, she's unconscious. Okay, it could be her heart.

Mac: The opening's too small! We're not going to be able to get her out.

Emily:Nikolas, is the rescue breathing working?

Nikolas: No.

Emily: Take her pulse again.

Nikolas: I can't find one.

Mac: She's dying! You have to do something!

P.A. Announcer: Dr. Drake, 3406. Dr. Patrick Drake, call 3406.

Emily: Nikolas, come here, take this.

Mac:He doesn't know how to use a defibrillator!

Emily:Here you go. All right, all right. Okay, open Maxie's shirt. You got it? Here you g all right, the machines already charged. I want you to place both paddles on her chest, one right below the right clavicle, and one under her armpit by her left breast. You got it? Perfect. All right, now push down on her and press both red buttons at the same time.

Nikolas: Okay. Emily, she's not responding.

Emily: Okay, check her pulse again.

Nikolas: Nothing.

Emily: All right, start C.P.R. Do 30 compressions for every two breaths.

Mac: Isn't there any way to get this elevator up?

Nikolas:She called for help, Mac. She said the lady said that help would be on its way as soon as they could.

Emily: Okay, here, Nikolas, come here. Nikolas, come here, take this. All right? Look, it's Epinephrine. You're going to have to inject it directly into Maxie's heart.

Mac: We need a doctor.

Emily: We haven't got a choice, Mac. All right, get down. Okay, feel for the bone where both sides of the rib cage meet. All right? Okay, now, go right below that. You got it? Now, and quickly and firmly stick the needle through.

Nikolas: Dear God. All right, take it like that?

Emily:Yeah.

Nikolas: I -- I can't do this. What if she dies? I can't -- I can't do this.

Emily: Nikolas, if you don't, she will die. All right, Nikolas, you listen to my voice. All right? You aim the needle right where the ribs meet, you hold it against her skin, and then push the plunger.

Nikolas: I can feel a pulse.

Emily: Okay. She's got a pulse, Mac.

Mac: Thank God.

Emily: Nikolas, just elevate her head -- there you go -- and keep her warm.

Nikolas: Okay. Okay.

Mac: We have to get her out of there.

Manny: Listen to me. I think I can get the elevator running again.

Mac: How?

Manny: I know how to work these control panels. If I can borrow something, I can get the cover off. Maybe a pocket knife or something.

Mac: Why should I believe you?

Manny: Hey, man, I'm just trying to help your daughter.

Mac: Come on, come on. Maxie, hang on. You're going to be all right, sweetheart. Bring that in here, come on!

Monica: Get her on this gurney, fast.

Nikolas: We got it. You got to get her.

Monica: Easy, guys, one, two -- mac:

Monica:. There you go. Maxie, are you all right?

Mac: Hang in there, Maxie, hang in there.

Monica: Maxie?

Mac: Hang in -- is she going to be all right?

Monica: We'll do everything we can.

Mac: Thank you, Nikolas.

Nikolas: All I did was follow instructions, Mac.

Mac: You two saved her life.

Emily:Yeah, we all worked together.

Mac: And you, too. Hey --

Manny:I'm glad your daughter made it.

Nikolas: Maxie's alive because of you, Emily. You deserve all the thanks.

Emily: Nikolas, I never got the chance to thank you for letting Sonny have the antibody serum.

Nikolas: In the end, Emily, it was Patrick Drake's decision, that's it.

Emily: No, Nikolas, you know what you did. It was incredibly generous.

Nikolas:You're wondering why I would make such a gesture towards a man I don't like?

Emily: No, you already told me the reason -- because Sonny has a family, right?

Nikolas: I did it for you, Emily. Yeah, I don't think he's good enough for you, that's true. But I know that you love him, and I just want you to be happy.

Emily: Well, I hope you and Courtney are going to be happy, too.

Nikolas: Thank you. I -- I have to believe that she'll make it through this.
