Michael: Dad.
Carly: Michael! Oh, my God, you really are all right! Come here, let me look at you.
Emily: I'd have brought Morgan, but he's fast asleep in the guesthouse and Leticia and I didn't want to wake him.
Michael: How are you feeling?
Carly: Better now that I'm seeing you. Come on, tell me everything that you've been doing.
Michael: Okay.
Sonny: How's Elizabeth?
Emily: She's determined to move forward, but she's grieving for the baby.
Sonny: Does she know?
Emily: That Carly ran out into the road and forced Jax to crash? No, no one knows. Do you honestly think it's better kept a secret?
Sonny: I feel terrible about this, but if Elizabeth knew the truth, it's not going to bring the baby back; it's not going to ease her pain.
Emily: Are those your rules, Sonny? When it's someone you care about, they don't have to answer for their crimes?
Sonny: Someone has to answer sooner or later.
Emily: I just have a feeling that if this had been your baby you wouldn't stop until you got revenge.
Sonny: That's what I do. I mean, I take care of the people who matter to me. That's what I'm doing with Carly right now. If people knew what was really going on, that she jumped in front of a car and caused an accident, I would be, you know, pressured to have her committed.
Emily: Maybe that's not the worst idea.
Sonny: Maybe you're right, but she begged me not to, okay, and I got to figure that in the long run she's better off here with her family than she would be in a hospital full of strangers. I need to do this. I need just a little more time. I owe her that.
Emily: Do you, Sonny? Or maybe you're just doing it for yourself.
Sonny: Your mama's a little confused right now, all right? That happens. But I think she's just really excited to see you.
Michael: She says that Faith is alive.
Sonny: We know better than that, right?
Carly: You look after my children, okay? Faith is as sneaky as they come. If you turn your back --
Emily: Look, everyone's safe and sound, right Michael, so we'll just go back to the guesthouse and your mom can rest.
Sonny: Kiss mama good night, okay?
Michael: Okay.
Carly: Good night, sweetheart.
Michael: Feel better, mom. I love you.
Carly: I love you.
Sonny: Hey, buddy? You're a good boy, good boy. Carly --
Carly: Oh, God.
Sonny: Listen to me. No, no, listen to me, Carly. You got to stop obsessing on Faith. I told you she's dead, Carly.
Carly: Oh, God, why didn't I smile? Yeah, right, like Charlotte. Like Charlotte was dead. Her head went through a windshield. Sonny, I saw it. There was blood everywhere. We had a memorial service for her. There! There she is, another face, another name, you see, but she's still the same girl who was supposed to have died.
