Elizabeth: Lucky?
Lucky: Did you -- did you get Jax to sign those papers?
Elizabeth: Yes.
Lucky: Well, then there's no reason for us to put off getting married. We love each other. And we'll be together for the rest of our lives. I can't wait, Elizabeth. So what do you say?
Emily: I brought a dress for you to wear.
Elizabeth: Then I say it's about time.
Audrey: Oh, Elizabeth, I would like to say I'm sorry, but maybe next time you will indulge your grandmother and let me plan a proper wedding.
Elizabeth: Well, that's very sweet of you, Gram, but I already feel like I'm married. The ceremony isn't important.
Audrey: Oh, well, then you won't mind if we go all out next time. Hmm?
Elizabeth: We'll discuss it. How about that?
Audrey: Yes, good. Well, I'm going to take the minister home, and I will put the cake in the freezer.
Elizabeth: Okay. I love you.
Audrey: Bye-bye.
Emily: Bye. Oh, God, your grandmother's on a mission.
Elizabeth: I know. How do you think I should handle it?
Emily: Give up and have a proper wedding. What, Elizabeth? It'll be fun.
Elizabeth: Oh, I'm -- I'm engaged to one man, I'm a single mom, I'm carrying another man's child for money. "Proper" doesn't fit.
Emily: Okay, you'll be marrying the man of your dreams, no matter how you do it.
Elizabeth: That's true.
Emily: So how did it go with Jax?
Elizabeth: He was great.
Emily: Yeah?
Elizabeth: Yeah.
Emily: So everything's falling in place?
Elizabeth: Yeah. Yeah, I've never been happier. I feel -- I feel kind of bad saying that in front of you, knowing that, you know, with everything that's going on --
Emily: No, don't. Elizabeth, be happy, with no regrets. You deserve it.
Elizabeth: Hey, miss.
Emily: Hey. Lucky called. Everything's okay.
Elizabeth: Oh, good.
Emily: No, no, no, wait, there's more. Please forgive him. He loves you -- exclamation point.
Elizabeth: You know, if I was superstitious, I'd start to wonder about the fact that we tried to get married three different times and never actually accomplished it.
Emily: But you're not superstitious, so you'll remember that you and Lucky are meant to be and practice makes perfect.
Elizabeth: That's right. Thanks, Em.
Jax: Hey.
Elizabeth: Hi.
Jax: Isn't your shift up yet?
Elizabeth: You know, it just ended. I actually took an extended dinner break so I could run off and get married, but unfortunately, my groom bailed on me.
Jax: Whoa, run that by me again.
Elizabeth: Lucky surprised me with a beautiful ceremony in the park and he got called away on work before we could finish it.
Jax: So when are you going to try again?
Elizabeth: Oh, who knows? We'll just do it until we get it right.
Jax: What about a honeymoon?
Elizabeth: We have not thought that far.
Jax: Okay, so okay. I'll make you a deal. Let me take you out for an ice cream sundae tonight, and then after the baby's born, I will take both the kids and I'll send you and Lucky to my beach house in Hawaii.
Elizabeth: Wow, it sounds like I'm getting the better end of the deal.
Jax: If I get to be a father, it's the greatest joy of all.
Elizabeth: And the greatest responsibility.
Jax: Yeah, my father always said that it's the toughest and the greatest job of all. I just wish that my dad was still here so he could see his first grandchild.
Elizabeth: I believe your dad is up there watching over you just as he did when he was alive.
Jax: Yeah. Well, if you heard that, dad, I'll try to do you proud.
Elizabeth: We both will.
Lucky: I got back as soon as I could.
Emily: Well, you're too late.
Lucky: What?
Emily: She was in a marrying mood and eloped with a handsome stranger.
Lucky: Where is she?
Emily: Jax gave her a ride home.
Lucky: Does Elizabeth think I'm a total jerk for leaving our wedding to do my job?
Emily: Lucky, it's the opposite. She thinks you're a caring person devoted to helping people. She's in love with you. Okay, you'll be married when you're married. Elizabeth's not going anywhere.
