Justus: Don't worry. I'll make sure Courtney can't hurt you. I'll expedite the paperwork.

Jax: The moment Elizabeth signs over custody, I want a quick, clean divorce.

Justus: It's all in place. I'll file the divorce papers in the morning. Good.

Nikolas: Hey, Justus. Working late tonight?

Justus: You know how it is, man.

Nikolas: Yeah, yeah, I do. So Emily asked you to handle our divorce, huh? I mean, that was what you were just talking about, wasn't it?

Sam: Emily, have you seen Jason?

Emily: I thought he was cruising the Caribbean with you.

Sam: No. He started having these seizures, and it affected his memory, and he just took off. I have no idea where.

Emily: Whoa, what do you mean, it affected his memory?

Sam: He doesn't remember who he is, who I am. I told him about Port Charles, praying that maybe he would come back and try and figure it all out.

Emily: But he doesn't remember anything?

Sam: Except how to defend himself. So we have to find him before he hurts himself or someone else.

Nikolas: Honestly, I'm not that surprised that Emily would keep it in the family. I mean, who else would she hire to handle our divorce other than her dear old cousin?

Justus: Well, obviously I'm bound by attorney-client privilege.

Nikolas: Oh, of course, of course, but if you're that worried about confidentiality, you might want to reconsider using a cell phone, because they're really not that secure.

Justus: Well, no less secure than somebody eavesdropping.

Nikolas: This is true. Still, don't you owe your clients a little more, don't you think?

Justus: What I owe my clients is whatever I can get them. In this case, the family wants to soak you for a fortune. It'll be my great pleasure to provide it for her.

Nikolas: I don't believe either of us want an ugly divorce, Justus.

Justus: Well, knowing Emily, she'll probably take the high road and ask for nothing, which is exactly what you gave her -- nothing.

Nikolas: If this is your idea of couples counseling, you got a ways to go.

Justus: Just saying -- you had the sweetest lady to ever draw a breath, and when she needed a little understanding, a little compassion, you couldn't wait to jump into Courtney's bed.

Nikolas: And that just shows how little you actually know.

Justus: Well, what I do know is that you'll regret leaving Emily for the rest of your life.

Emily: Max said Jason was seen in town.

Sam: When? What happened?

Emily: A few hours ago. He broke up a fight between Carly and Ceese.

Sam: Okay, all right, that's good. That's vintage Jason. But if he would have remembered anything, I think he would have tried to contact me.

Emily: Well, Reese said that Jason didn't seem to recognize her. Of course, she was preoccupied with Carly, but --

Sam: What now?

Emily: Carly's having a nervous breakdown, and that's why Sonny isn't here. He was taking care of her, but she, I don't know, got away, I guess, and so he's gone to look for her.

Sam: All right, okay. Emily, it's up to you and me. We have got to find Jason fast, okay?

Emily: Wait, wait, wait, Sam, listen. What aren't you telling me?

Sam: Okay. Jason has been having these terrible blinding headaches that normally end up with nosebleeds, and then he passes out. I don't know what's causing them. I know that he needs medical attention.

Emily: Does he know about the penthouse?

Sam: He's got his wallet, which has the address in there. I went there looking for him, assuming that he would go, but I found no signs that he was there.

Emily: Okay, how much did you tell him about the rest of his life?

Sam: I told him about Sonny, and there was a picture of Michael and Morgan in there. He didn't seem to make the connection, and then I told him about before that, when he was a Quartermaine.

Emily: He's got to show up at the penthouse eventually. He doesn't have anywhere else to go.

Sam: I don't know, Emily. He tried to decoy me. He wanted to send me on a wild-goose chase to Portugal.

Emily: Oh, why?

Sam: I don't know why. Listen, his memory may be gone, but his defense skills, they're at full tilt right now. That probably includes knowing how to disappear without a trace.

Emily: No, he wouldn't do that to you.

Sam: He doesn't remember loving me, which means he wouldn't think twice about leaving town and getting permanently lost.

Jax: Maybe I should call Courtney and tell her not to meet me here. Just in case I can't get ahold of her, why don't you do us all a favor and leave.

Nikolas: You know, you might be able to bully her into avoiding me, but I don't buckle quite as easily.

Jax: You know, everyone's noticed, Cassadine, your pursuit of my wife, it borders on obsessive.

Nikolas: I have one advantage that you seem to be missing here.

Jax: Really?

Nikolas: Jax, yes. I actually care what happens to Courtney.

Jax: Well, maybe you didn't get the memo, because Courtney and I have reconciled.

Nikolas: Oh, no, no, I got that one. Yeah, and it was very well planned. You want full custody of the baby, but Elizabeth won't give it to a single parent, so your plan is you're going to let Courtney believe that you're still in love with her, when in fact when the baby's born you're going to divorce her. Shall I go -- ah!

Courtney: Stop it!

Jax: I'm okay. Stay out of this, okay?

Courtney: Look at your hand, Jax!

Nikolas: Courtney, you have no idea --

Courtney: How could you --

Nikolas: What he's about to do to you.

Courtney: No, enough, Nikolas. Why don't you just leave us alone! God.

Sam: I can't even pretend to understand what you're feeling right now. Disoriented, overwhelmed -- I'm sure none of those things even come close.

Jason: I just need to get out of here.

Sam: You are not this cold-blooded assassin, Jason, because I know you are a good man with a gentle soul, and you are capable of a deep and honest love.

Jason: You don't get it.

Jason: I don't know who this is. Okay? I don't know who lives here.

Jason: I found this in the desk, and it's the only thing that I recognize. How does that make me good and gentle?

Sam: You're confused.

Jason: I'm perfectly clear! I just need to go where no one knows me so there's no risk I'll react without thinking and shoot some --

Sam: Hey, hey, you're having a headache.

Jason: No, it's okay. I'm just going to get through it, okay?

Sam: Jason, I'm asking you for one night, please. Just stay here one night. I will answer all of your questions, anything you have. Please, I'm begging you. When's the last time you ate?

Jason: I don't know, I don't know.

Sam: Okay, well, just let me -- I'm really good at ordering in. I will order you some chinese food. Before you travel the world all by yourself, please, you should know the things that you like to eat at least. You can trust me.

Emily: Oh, god, thank god you found him. All right, Jason, we've got to get you to the hospital immediately.

Jason: No, no, no hospitals.

Emily: Listen, I'm your sister. I only want to help you. Sam, please.

Sam: What did you find out?

Emily: All right, the symptoms he's having may be from a brain lesion or an aneurysm. If we don't get him treatment right away, he could die.

Jason: Forget it. Last time I was at the hospital, I shot two people. Ask Sam.

Sam: Jason, your life depends on it, please. Hey.

Nikolas: I'm glad -- I'm glad you called me. I want to explain --

Courtney: Look, I know --

Nikolas: What happened earlier.

Courtney: I know that Jax hit you first. He already told me.

Nikolas: Yeah, but did he tell you why? I mean, he didn't like it so much when I busted him for lying, Courtney.

Courtney: Nikolas, come on. After all the lies that we told, I don't think we have any room to sit in judgment of anyone else.

Nikolas: He hasn't forgiven you, Courtney, for what he thinks happened to us, you know what I'm --

Courtney: Of course he has.

Nikolas: Okay. This is going to be hard for you to hear, and believe me, I don't like being the one who has to tell you. But Jax has no plans to save your marriage. Okay? He's going to divorce you after the baby's in his custody. He's playing you. Okay? The only interest he has right now is how badly he can hurt you.

Elizabeth: Okay, we're going to get Jason settled into his room where we'll start a whole battery of tests, and the neurosurgeon on call has already been paged.

Sam: All right, well, I want to stay with him.

Elizabeth: After he gets in his room you can sit with him, but right now I have some forms for you to fill out.

Emily: Here, I'll do it.

Sam: Are they going to be able to stop the seizures?

Emily: I -- I don't know. I'm worried that the drug Jason took a few weeks ago might have contributed.

Elizabeth: Wait, what drug?

Sam: Tribenzin, something. It was an experimental drug that was supposed to help him with his memory loss, but --

Elizabeth: You should write that down.

Emily: Okay. You know, I'm going to try to track it down. No one knows the long-term effects at this point, so it may be difficult to --

Sam: Look, I don't want to hear that Jason can't be helped.

Emily: Sam, he's my brother, okay? I love him, too.

Sam: I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I'm just -- I'm really frustrated. I don't know what to do.

Elizabeth: Sam, we all are. Okay, listen, I paged your dad and he just came on duty.

Sam: No, no! Jason doesn't like Alan.

Emily: Sam, the hospital needs a signature on the consent form.

Sam: I'll sign it.

Elizabeth: It has to be a spouse or a parent.

Sam: Okay, well, then you'll sign it. You're his sister. Can't they

Elizabeth: Alan is already on his way.

Nikolas: I'm sorry. I just felt that you should know the truth.

Courtney: Yeah? What makes you so sure that Jax is lying?

Nikolas: Because -- because I heard him on the phone with Justus. He hired him to handle your divorce, Courtney.

Courtney: Just stop it. Nikolas, I'm not kidding. I don't want to hear another word, okay?

Nikolas: I know that it hurts, but that's what I heard, Courtney.

Courtney: Oh, my god. Okay, now who's trying to make a fool out of me?

Nikolas: What?

Courtney: I actually believed in you.

Nikolas: What are you talking about?

Courtney: This -- this affair that never happened, this attraction that we've been struggling against? I mean, I honestly thought that we were actually victims of unfortunate timing. But, no, no, you have been manipulating me the whole time!

Nikolas: That is crazy, Courtney.

Courtney: All that anguish that you are so good at. Really, I mean, what, the handsome prince is going to save me from my own insecurities. All that fake nobility -- I mean, "oh, don't worry, Courtney, I'm going to be strong enough for the both of us." No, you -- god, Nikolas! You've been playing me. Look, I am sorry that your marriage crashed and burned, but you are not going to sabotage mine.
