Courtney: Oh, my God. Oh, my God. We have to get him out of here!

Jax: Courtney, Courtney --

Nikolas: Just go, just go. There's no time! Get out!

Courtney: No, I'm not going to leave him!

Rumbling.

Nikolas: This whole place is about to cave in. Get out!

Courtney: I am not leaving you.

Jax: Then we are all going to die here.

Jax: If I lift this thing, can you crawl out underneath?

Nikolas: I don't know. I'll try.

Courtney: Here, let me help.

Jax: No, Courtney, Courtney, come on, come on, just back up against the wall!

Courtney: But, Jax, you can't do it alone!

Nikolas: He's right, Courtney, listen to him. Don't risk the baby.

Courtney: I know, but --

Jax: Look, there's no time to argue, okay? We have to move him. Now, back up.

Nikolas: Go on, go on.

Jax: Come on.

Courtney: Oh, God.

Nikolas: Get her out of here.

Jax: I'm not winning this the easy way. Get ready to push.

Nikolas and Jax grunt as a noise happens and Courtney screams.

Jax: Get down!

Robin: The baby's lodged in the birth canal. I don't know how I'm going to get it out.

Ric: Well, you got to do something.

Robin: I'm going to make a bigger incision. Emily, knife.

Alexis moans.

Ric: Alexis is waking up.

Robin: Okay, we're almost there.

Ric: Come on.

Robin: I've got the cord tied, Ric. Grab the scissors and cut it.

Ric: Let me --

Robin: Yeah.

Ric: Anywhere? Here?

Robin: Right -- yeah, right there. It's a girl.

Ric: Oh -- okay. It's -- it's okay. Okay.

Robin: There you go.

Ric: Hi, little girl! Robin? Robin, something's wrong. She's not breathing.

Robin: The airways may be blocked with fluid. Put your mouth over the baby's and suck like you're sucking through a straw.

Ric: Okay. Like that?

Robin: Yeah, just be gentle, okay? Not too hard.

Ric: Okay.

Emily: Here are the sutures and the bandages.

Robin: Okay, good, yeah, I need the flashlight again.

Ric: Robin, it's not working. She's still not breathing.

Robin: Just put your mouth over the baby's and gently breathe.

Ric: Come on, sweetheart. Come on, sweetheart. Come on, breathe. Breathe.

Baby cries.

Ric: It's working, it's working. It's just -- she's got color back in her face.

Robin: Alexis is hemorrhaging. We have to put more pressure, okay? She can't afford to lose any more blood.

Courtney: Oh, my God! Nikolas! Nikolas! Help me dig him out! Jax, help me!

Courtney grunts.

Courtney: Nikolas! Oh, God! Oh, God!

Jax: It's too big to move.

Courtney: Nikolas!

Jax: Nikolas!

Courtney: Oh, my God -- oh, my God, Jax. Oh --

Jax: It could just be from a cut.

Courtney: No -- look at these rocks! How are we going to get him out? Oh, my God, Nikolas!

Jax: Courtney, it's going to cave -- come on!

Courtney: No! No!

Rumbling.

Jax: Come on!

Jax: You okay?

Courtney: I left him. Jax, I promised Nikolas I wouldn't, and I did.

Jax: We did everything we could for Nikolas, okay? The whole place caved in, Courtney.

Courtney: What if Nikolas is still alive?

Jax: He wanted you to save yourself and the baby.

Courtney: You know, they say that before you think you're going to die, your life flashes before your eyes. When all those rocks started falling, I -- I suddenly started thinking about my first baby. I remember waking up and hearing that I'd lost the baby. I just didn't want it to happen again. I chose my baby over staying with Nikolas.

Jax: No, no, no, no -- there was no choice, okay? We did, we did everything we could to try to get Nikolas out.

Robin: Come on, Alexis. Stay with us.

Baby cries.

Ric: Shh, shh, shh.

Courtney: The baby.

Ric: Hi. Yeah, a girl.

Jax: How's Alexis?

Ric: She -- we had to do a C-section.

Jax: What do you mean, "we"?

Ric: I think you know her; she's a doctor -- Robin Scorpio?

Jax: Oh, yeah, Mac mentioned she was on the train.

Ric: Yeah. Well, she performed the C-section along with Emily. They were really incredible.

Jax: So Alexis is okay?

Ric: Yeah, we, they're trying -- they're trying to control the bleeding. I just can't seem to make her stop crying. It's all right, pumpkin.

Courtney: Hey, you must be exhausted, Ric. Why don't you let me take her?

Ric: Okay. Go ahead.

Courtney: I got her.

Ric: Watch her head, watch her head, easy.

Courtney: Hey, sweetheart. Hey.

Ric: Hey, you're doing it.

Baby stops crying.

Courtney: Welcome to the world.

Baby fusses.

Courtney: Yeah, shh. Everything's going to be okay. It is. Your mommy and daddy love you. It's going to be okay.

Baby coos.

Jax: You know how stubborn Alexis is, Ric.

Ric: Yeah.

Jax: You know, she'll never abandon this child. She'll make it.

Ric: Yeah, I know, I know, Jax. I was saying the same thing to myself, but Robin has very little to work with here. We don't know when we're going to get out of here.

Jax: Alexis knows -- Alexis knows that she has everything to live for.

Ric: Yeah, that -- that's what I'm trying to pray and hope.

Emily: Jax? Did you ever make it out of the tunnel?

Jax: Yeah, briefly. You know, they're putting together a huge rescue operation for us. They're trying to get us out.

Emily: And you came back to bring us encouragement?

Jax: Something like that, yeah.

Courtney: Nikolas came back, too.

Emily: Then where is he?

Ric: Thanks, Courtney. She's asleep. Thanks.

Emily: What -- what about Nikolas? Where is he?

Jax: There was a cave-in.

Courtney: Look, I said I'd stay with him and I would have but, Emily, rocks started falling, we couldn't see him. Everything started to collapse and --

Emily: No.

Jax: I did everything I could to try to get Nikolas out, but the whole placed caved in.

Emily: Did you see him after that?

Jax: No.

Emily: Then he could still be alive.

Jax: Listen, he was pinned under a beam, okay? And then rocks started coming down on him.

Emily: You survived.

Jax: Because I was able to get out of the way. Okay, Nikolas couldn't move.

Courtney: Oh, God, Emily, I'm so sorry.

Courtney: It shouldn't have happened.

Jax: It's no one's fault. Hey.

Nikolas coughs.

Emily: Nikolas!
