Emily: A shower -- that's what I need.
Elizabeth: Em, I know how you feel. That's what I wanted, too, more than anything, just to -- to wash it off, to scrub my skin until it bled. Whatever it took to get clean. Connor raped you, didn't he?
Emily: I just need a shower, that's all.
Elizabeth: Emily, you can tell me. It's okay.
Emily: You know what happened, Elizabeth. Connor was crazy. I shot him.
Elizabeth: Listen, if he raped you, you need special care.
Emily: Nothing happened.
Elizabeth: Look at you, Em. You're terrified.
Emily: Look, I killed a man! Elizabeth, he was out of his mind, but he didn't rape me, all right?
Elizabeth: Emily --
Emily: Just stop it, please. I just want to forget this night ever happened.
Elizabeth: I know how this feels.
Emily: You have no idea, Elizabeth. A man with my husband's face attacked me. I had to kill him.
Elizabeth: It was more than an attack, wasn't it, Em?
Emily: You're my best friend, Elizabeth. If Connor had forced himself on me, do you really think that I’d keep it from you?
Elizabeth: Maybe you're just trying to deny what really happened. I mean, that was my first impulse, Emily.
Emily: Right now I just want to wash off.
Elizabeth: Emily, you really need an exam --
Emily: Look, stop it, please! Connor didn't -- I don't want to say it again. Oh.
Lucky: He raped her, didn't he?
Elizabeth: All the signs are there.
Connor's voice: Please, Emily, open this door! Let me help you! Please!
Emily's Voice: Get away from me!
Connor's Voice: No matter how much you hate me, you want to be with me.
Lucky: It's a good thing Connor’s dead or I’d kill him myself.
Elizabeth: It's going to be really hard to prove what happened if she washes away the D.N.A.
Lucky: You know what? We can't tell the police anything, or we'd have to confess everything, that Connor was here, pretending to be Nikolas, how he died.
Elizabeth: I need to get Emily to a women's clinic, where they have confidential testing and exams. They'll keep a rape kit on file for evidence if the police need it.
Lucky: Connor's already dead. There's no way to punish him for what he did.
Elizabeth: Yeah, but if they find a body and Emily gets charged with shooting him, she needs to be able to prove that she was raped and that she shot him out of self-defense. Also, she -- God, she needs to be tested for S.T.D’s; she needs to be tested for pregnancy. She's going to need a counselor, because I know she's going to think this is her fault.
Lucky: Why is that?
Elizabeth: She went to Canada, all the way to Canada, to search for Connor and asked him to pretend to be her husband, and she taught him how to be Nikolas.
Lucky: There's no excuse for what he did.
Elizabeth: I know -- you don't understand. The survivor often blames herself. I did. I was grabbed from behind by a complete stranger. Emily was with Connor for weeks pretending to be in love with him.
Lucky: Connor knew this was an act. It was a trap just to bring Helena out.
Elizabeth: But he was attracted to her. You know that Emily asked me if I thought she was sending him mixed messages?
Lucky: What? That's ridiculous.
Elizabeth: I know, I know. I told her the same thing, but you know Emily. She feels responsible. She holds everything in. She internalizes. But I'll tell you this. If she doesn't let go of this, it's going to eat her alive.
Elizabeth: Here, honey, this will warm you up. Take this.
Emily: Thanks. I used to love wintertime, but it's been so cold this year.
Elizabeth: Here. I didn't mean to startle you.
Emily: It's just chills.
Lucky: I packed all your stuff. There's no sign that you and Connor were ever here.
Emily: What do we do now?
Elizabeth: I think we need to get you home.
Lucky: Oh, no, we can't. Helena, she's probably got people all over Port Charles. We'll need to find somewhere safe for Emily.
Elizabeth: She was supposed to be safe here.
Lucky: Yeah, but Connor’s dead. Helena thinks that Emily killed Nikolas, so Helena’s going to be completely focused on revenge.
Emily: I can hide for as long as I need to. The only thing that matters is trapping Helena and freeing Nikolas. And if we don't, then all of this was for nothing.
Lucky: I'll go start the car.
Elizabeth: I'm going to go clean up the kitchen, okay? I'll be right back, though.
Lucky: I'm telling you, the car was running fine until I came back in to get you.
Elizabeth: Then what happened?
Lucky: I won't know until I look under the hood. I just need you to hold the flashlight for me.
Elizabeth: I'd rather stay with Em. I --
Emily: No, I'm fine. No, the sooner Lucky fixes the car, the sooner I can get out of here.
Elizabeth: You sure?
Emily: Go.
Lucky: Okay, you know what? We'll be right outside.
Connor's Voice: I love you. I've loved you since the first day I saw you.
Emily: Help me, please! God!
Emily screams.
Helena: Now it's your turn to die. My grandson's only flaw was his blind loyalty to peasants who were not worthy of him. Oh, truly believed that you loved him, and this is the way that you would repay that kind of devotion, by shooting him in cold blood?
Emily: That's not what happened.
Helena: No, why did you turn on him? Or did he suddenly decide to come to his senses and leave you?
Emily: I didn't shoot Nikolas. That was Connor. My husband is in prison.
Helena: Oh, please, please, please. You would say anything to keep me from ending your life.
Emily: Connor was pretending to be Nikolas to lure you out of hiding. We were going to take you to the police so that Nikolas could go free. And our plan worked. So we made a fool out of you.
Helena: We'll see about that. But you have lied for the last time.
Emily: I still want to live. If Nikolas were really dead, I'd have no reason to go on. I'd pull that trigger myself.
Lucky: Emily, let's go. The car's running.
Elizabeth: Emily?
Lucky: No.
Elizabeth: Oh, God. Helena came back.
Lucky: She's got Em. Let's go.
