Emily: I should have just told you I was scared. We could have come up with another plan. You might have stayed with me, or I could have moved to another house. But I didn't. I took the risk. I chose to stay in a bad situation. I knew that Connor was dangerous, and I was stupid enough to believe that he wouldn't hurt me. That's what I have to accept. And I will. But I need you to help me with Nikolas. I don't know what to say to him. You have to help me think of something, Lucky. You're good at that kind of thing. Maybe I shouldn't tell Nikolas anything. I mean, there really isn't much to tell. Just one of those things that you get through. You don't dwell on it. You just let it go.
Elizabeth: Hi, Em.
Emily: Hi.
Elizabeth: How's Lucky doing?
Emily: Oh, about the same. Hi, Dr. Meadows.
Dr. Meadows: How are you, Emily?
Emily: Great. What are you doing here?
Elizabeth: I thought you might want to talk with her.
Emily: Me and Dr. Meadows? Why?
Elizabeth: You've been through a lot, especially with Connor.
Emily: Nothing happened with Connor, nothing at all, so why'd you bother Dr. Meadows?
Elizabeth: I'm concerned for you.
Emily: Lucky needs your concern, I don't.
Elizabeth: Emily, I know Connor attacked you.
Emily: And I shot him. Yes, it was terrible, but it has nothing to do with Dr. Meadows.
Dr. Meadows: Have you been examined by a doctor?
Emily: I'm not hurt.
Dr. Meadows: Well, an exam might not be a bad idea, just to make sure.
Emily: I got a little banged up, but it's nothing serious.
Dr. Meadows: Would you consider a blood test?
Emily: For what? Why are you looking at me like that?
Elizabeth: A blood test would only take a second.
Emily: Look, we already discussed this. Why can't you let it go? We need to concentrate on Lucky.
Elizabeth: I can't. I can't help lucky right now, but I can help you.
Emily: I don't need any help, all right? Or a blood test or a doctor. Listen, I appreciate your concern, but I'm all right.
Dr. Meadows: If you change your mind, you know where to find me.
Emily: I won't, but thanks. Oh, could you please not mention this to my parents?
Dr. Meadows: All our conversations are confidential, Emily.
Emily: Okay, thanks.
Elizabeth: Em, I didn't mean to push you --
Emily: How could you do this?
Elizabeth: I'm really worried for you.
Emily: Right, so you drag in a gynecologist?
Elizabeth: Okay, I know you want to pretend like none of this happened, but --
Emily: What do you need from me, Elizabeth? I shot a man, all right? I killed him. Helena Cassadine held me hostage. She tried to kill me. My husband is in prison for murdering someone who isn't even dead. One of my closest friends --
Elizabeth: I know, I know.
Emily: Is on life-support for trying to save my life.
Elizabeth: I know, and I can't change any of that, but if I can keep you from making the same mistakes I made I did, then maybe --
Emily: I am not you! Why can't you understand that? What happened to you didn't happen to me, so just leave it alone.
Skye: Hey, what's the problem?
Skye: What's ever going on here, is there any way that I can help?
Emily: No.
Elizabeth: I didn't mean to upset you.
Emily: Look, then leave it alone.
Skye: Leave what alone?
Emily: Nothing.
Elizabeth: Look, if someone had intervened with me earlier, it would have really helped.
Emily: "Intervened"? I don't need an intervention, okay? Elizabeth, I'm not addicted to anything. I'm not trying to cover anything up. And just because something awful happened to you a long time ago doesn't mean that it happened to me.
Elizabeth: Look, the more you deny it, the worse it's going to get.
Emily: I'm not denying anything! And I don't appreciate you going around to the hospital and telling everybody how worried you are about me.
Elizabeth: Honey, I didn't say anything. I just called Dr. Meadows.
Emily: Just forget it.
Skye: Do I even want to know what that was about?
Elizabeth: Just trying to help a friend. I think I made it worse.
Skye: All right, you know what? I'll go check on her.
Elizabeth: Okay, thanks.
Steven: Hey.
Elizabeth: Oh. Hi.
Steven: How you doing? I'm sorry. I'm just asking.
Elizabeth: Is Lucky getting any better?
Steven: There's no change. Lucky could stay this way indefinitely.
Elizabeth: He won't.
Steven: I hope not. But at some point a decision will have to be made.
Steven: Okay, look, nobody has to decide right now, but we can't ignore the reality of Lucky's condition.
Elizabeth: Steven, he hasn't even been in a coma for that long.
Steven: I know, but the stroke changes everything. His condition is bad. It's getting worse.
Elizabeth: Lucky is a young man. You can't possibly be thinking about taking him off of life-support.
Steven: I'm not thinking about it, but unfortunately, his age makes the situation even worse.
Elizabeth: How?
Steven: Because he could be in this condition for the next 20 to 30 years. Do you think that's what he wants? Has he ever mentioned to you -- I mean, do you know if he has a living will?
Elizabeth: I don't know. I don't know.
Steven: Has he ever talked about what he'd want if this --
Elizabeth: No, no, God -- no.
Steven: Okay. Well, at some point they're going to approach his family and they're going to see if they've ever discussed life-support.
Bobbie: Don't even think about it.
Bobbie: Elizabeth, could you give us a minute? Thank you. Why would you address this with Elizabeth? I am Lucky's next of kin since Luke is out of town.
Steven: Do you know where Luke is?
Bobbie: That's besides the point. There is no way Luke is going to give you permission to take him off the ventilator.
Steven: Do you know if Lucky has a living will?
Bobbie: No.
Steven: And has he ever discussed with you what he might like to happen in this situation?
Bobbie: I think it's way too early to even ask that question.
Steven: Bobbie, I do, too, but you're a nurse. You know that we need to have this conversation.
Bobbie: Lucky could recover and there's no way the family is going to consider taking him off life-support.
Emily: Why are we even discussing this?
Steven: Look, it's hospital policy to inquire whether a coma patient --
Bobbie: Dr. Webber, let me explain this to you. My nephew is going to come through this. I don't know exactly how, but I do know that he will.
Skye: Emily?
Emily: Hi. I'm way behind in all of my studies.
Skye: Well, what happened back there with Elizabeth?
Emily: We were both just a little stressed out.
Skye: Well, may I ask why you were fighting?
Emily: Elizabeth was trying to help, that's all. I'll apologize.
Skye: Well, you know, I'm still here if you want somebody to talk to.
Emily: I don't, but thanks. I really need to finish the end of this chapter.
Skye: Okay.
Emily: Thank you for dropping off the assignment. I'm so sorry that I've been missing classes, Doctor.
Doctor: Oh, you still have time to catch up.
Emily: Okay.
Doctor: Look over this chart. Review your treatment options. Then write up your conclusions.
Emily: Okay, sure. Thanks.
Doctor: It's a female assault victim.
Steven: Hey, Em.
Emily: Don't touch me. Don't ever touch me.
