Nikolas: Excuse me. We're here to visit Kristina Davis.
Nurse: I don't think she's allowed to have visitors.
Nikolas: We're family.
Nurse: I'll check the doctor's instructions.
Nikolas: Alexis must be doing cartwheels down the corridor.
Ric: Well, not quite, but she's pretty happy.
Emily: So are we.
Nikolas: Yeah.
Ric: One less pending disaster to keep you up at night, huh?
Nikolas: Yeah, something like that, I guess.
Ric: Well, maybe I can lighten the load a little bit. I spoke to Mac. He agreed to revise his statement about the shooting of Mary Bishop. That gives me the room to offer you a plea bargain.
Nikolas: Okay. What are the details?
Ric: I want you to plead no contest to mayhem. You will get a suspended sentence and 100 hours of community service.
Nikolas: 100 hours -- well, that -- that seems fair, I --
Ric: Mary Bishop was a dangerous and deranged person. I don't think anybody should have to pay for her death.
Nikolas: Thank you. Thank you for helping me. I can't remember the last time I had this much good news in one day.
Ric: I'll leave you to it.
Nikolas: Thank you.
Nikolas: Well, that's it. We're free. Mary's out of our lives forever.
Emily: Hey, did you happen to notice where my fiancé went?
Nurse: I think he went to see Kristina.
Emily: Okay, thanks. I'll log these in while I'm waiting for him. Nikolas --
Alexis: Look, I know that I've given your family a hard time, and they really rallied around Kristina, and I just want you to know that I'm not going to forget that.
Ned: Every Quartermaine has the capacity to be a decent person. We just need to be encouraged to get there, I guess.
Alexis: It was a mistake for me not to include you and your family in Kristina's life, and I want to change that.
Ned: Well, thank you. I know Brook Lynn and I would love to spend more time with Kristina. I'm sure the rest of the family would, too.
Alexis: I've had to rethink a lot of decisions that I've made. And I think that you should be -- i want you to be a part of her life. I want you to be a father to her that Sonny can't be.
Ned: All right. Well, don't worry, all right? Sonny is no longer a factor.
Alexis: I'm not so sure about that.
Nikolas: Sorry. Sorry to interrupt, but is Sonny causing some sort of trouble for you?
Alexis: No, no. I was just explaining to Ned that Ric Lansing has been really wonderful. And as much as I try not to like him, I do, and so does Kristina, and the only problem -- I was just telling him that -- is that he's Sonny's brother.
Ned: And I was assuring her that sonny can't stand Ric and won't be a factor. Not that I'm in favor of you being involved with Ric Lansing.
Alexis: Well, "involved" is a pretty strong word. I mean, we're acquaintances, maybe. I mean, friends, on a good day.
Nikolas: Alexis, Alexis, you can stop explaining that.
Alexis: Okay, all right.
Nikolas: Excuse me. Hey, listen, I just want you to know, as soon as you're out of here, I'm going start teaching you how to ride. What do you think about that?
Alexis: No, you most certainly will not.
Nikolas: Shh. But, see, don't tell your mom, because she doesn't know yet. Listen to me. Let me know if you need anything, okay?
Alexis: Thank you.
Nikolas: All right.
Alexis: Thanks.
Nikolas: I'm so glad this is almost over. Come here.
Alexis: Good.
Nikolas: Bye.
Alexis: Thanks.
Emily: That was quick.
Nikolas: What? What?
Emily: Was Kristina sleeping?
Nikolas: Uh -- no. Why?
Emily: I saw you walking in this direction not 30 seconds ago.
Nikolas: Well, it wasn't me. I've been in her room for the last few minutes.
Emily: Well, okay. Well, I guess it was someone who looked like you.
Emily: Hey. I'm glad you're here. This bathtub feels so lonely without you. That feels nice.
