Connor Bishop is also played by Tyler Christopher, who plays Nikolas Cassadine.
Emily: Elizabeth.
Elizabeth: Yeah?
Emily: Do you like this here?
Elizabeth: Doesn't really make a difference. No one's going to be looking at the flowers. They're all going to be staring at the beautiful bride.
Emily: Thanks. Oh, I can't stop smiling.
Elizabeth: Really? Because I hadn't noticed.
Emily: You know, I know the fact is that Nikolas could be going to prison for a long time and we won't have a honeymoon and he'll be back in custody by morning, but I’m getting married today to the man I love, and that's all that matters.
Lucky: On the positive, you won't be hung over on your wedding. On the negative, you didn't have a bachelor party last night.
Nikolas: Oh, you can owe it to me, okay?
Lucky: Oh, yeah? Yeah, anytime?
Nikolas: Yeah.
Lucky: You nervous?
Nikolas: I've never been more sure of anything in my life.
Elizabeth: Hey, Em, do you remember when we were younger and how we'd fantasize about what our weddings would be like?
Emily: Yeah. I always wanted a full church wedding. And for the honeymoon, my husband and I would board a sailboat and we'd sail around the entire world for a year. And, obviously, the second half of that fantasy won't come true.
Elizabeth: You have the right to be disappointed, Em.
Emily: Oh, but I'm not, Elizabeth, because the wedding itself isn't important, you know? And neither is the honeymoon or being carried over the threshold or what color napkin rings I choose for the table. What matters is how I feel about him.
Elizabeth: But you know there are extenuating circumstances in Helena’s death. Nikolas could receive a light sentence.
Emily: I know. I'm not going to think about the future, you know. I'm marrying the love of my life today, and I intend to enjoy every minute of it.
Elizabeth: Yeah, that was the other part of the dream -- that every girl would find her one true love, that magical person that would keep her happy for the rest of her life. Not everyone finds him, Em. And those who do don't always make the most of it. But you did. You made the dream come true.
Nikolas: Thanks.
Lucky: I always thought I was going to be married before you.
Nikolas: I wish you had. I was counting on you to give me your advice.
Lucky: You know, I wonder sometimes what it would have been like if I married Elizabeth.
Nikolas: Yeah.
Lucky: You know, but what's the point? I mean, life moves forward, not backward.
Emily: Hi.
Monica: Hi.
Emily: I'm so glad you guys are here.
Monica: Hi, sweetheart.
Emily: Oh. You're not going to believe it, but Elizabeth and I actually managed to finish everything.
Alan: Well, that's not why we're here.
Monica: No, Emily. Now, you know how much we love you.
Alan: More than anything, we want you to be happy, Em.
Emily: But I shouldn't marry a man who's about to go to prison. What kind of a life will that be for me?
Alan: So, we're predictable. Does it make us any less right?
Monica: Emily, look, I mean, starting a life together is difficult enough, but with Nikolas in prison, it's going to be almost impossible.
Emily: Stop it, both of you. You know that I love you. And today's my wedding day, and I can't think about anything except the man I love.
Alan: Do you love him enough to make the right choices for yourself, to live a full and happy life? Isn't that what Nikolas would want for you?
Emily: Hi. What do you think?
Jason: It's nice.
Emily: Hey Jase. Have a seat.
Jason sits beside Emily on the church pew.
Emily: Nikolas and I are getting married today. Mac convinced a judge to release him for the ceremony.
Jason: What happens after that?
Emily: Well, he hasn't been sentenced yet. I'm not sure how long he's going to be gone. But I'm gonna wait for him, Jason. Even if it's twenty years. You think I'm crazy, don'tcha? But getting married to Nikolas is all I've ever wanted, Jason. You know that.
Jason: Yeah. Normally, I'd like to talk to Nikolas but considering the circumstances I'm just going to best take your word. Does he feel the same way about you?
Emily: Absolutely.
Jason: Okay. If you're happy, then I'm happy.
Emily: Okay. You know, it was important to me to see you on my wedding day, Jase. That's why I asked you to be here.
Jason: When's the ceremony?
Emily: It's in a couple of hours. Listen, I know that you're still dealing with losing the baby and...and trying to take care of Sam. And Jase, I just want you to know, that I'll understand if you can't be here.
Jason: Emily, you're my sister. I love you and there's nothing in the world that would make me miss your wedding.
Jason and Emily hug.
Jason lights a candle.
Emily: Mom and Dad were here. They want me to call off the wedding because Nikolas is going to prison.
Jason: Did you guys fight?
Emily: No, I understand that they are worried about me. I'm not looking forward to living without him.
Jason: I mean, you're going to be doing that whether you're married or not.
Emily: I know, Jase. But, Nikolas being gone is going to make it harder on both of us and everything I've heard, marriage is hard enough already.
Jason: Yeah, marriage, you know. It, it isn't what you think. It's not just about loving the other person or wanting to be together. It's about accepting each other and helping each other when you fall and trying just to find a way to hold on during the tough times instead of coming apart. Do you think you and Nikolas can do that?
Emily: I can stand by Nikolas through anything and I know that he's going to do the same thing for me.
Nikolas is sitting at the interrogation table in cuffs when Emily comes in. They kiss.
Nikolas: Hi.
Emily: Hi.
Nikolas: What are you doing here?
They kiss.
Nikolas: What are you doing here?
Emily: I had to see you.
Nikolas: Is everything allright?
Emily: Yeah, I just missed you.
Nikolas: I just missed you, too. You know, you can still back out if you want to. I mean, I understand if you'd changed your mind about getting married.
Emily: What if our positions were reversed and I was going away for who knows how long-
Nikolas: I would not even hesitate.
Emily: Neither will I.
Nikolas: Good.
Emily: You're it for me, Nikolas. You're my one, true, forever love. So, I don't care what anyone else thinks. I know its right to marry you.
Nikolas: Good. Listen, I--I don't know wha the future holds with all of this, but I want you to know that I love you. And, I can say my vows without any reservations and...and I can and will mean every word of it. And I can and will love you till death do us part and all that.
Nikolas and Emily kiss majorly.
Elizabeth: Emily went to see Nikolas at the police station, he can't be here to rehearse anyway, so why don't you just do the runthrough with us?
Lucky: We take our wedding duties very seriously.
Elizabeth: Oh, stop.
Liz hits Lucky in the chest...the trio are giggling. As Father Coates talks, he motions Liz and Lucky through the motions and they pretend that they are doing the wedding rehearsal.
Father Coates: Allright then. Nikolas will stand here. Emily, will then start down the aisle. Allright then. Emily will turn to Nikolas. She'll take his hand. Go ahead. And at this point I'll start the ceremony. I'll give the invocation and I'll pronounce Emily and Nikolas, husband and wife. At which point, Nikolas will be able to kiss the bride.
