Connor Bishop is also played by Tyler Christopher, who plays Nikolas Cassadine.
Connor: If your hands hurt, rub them a little bit. Get the circulation going.
Emily: What happens now?
Connor: Going to town, let you go.
Emily: And what about you?
Connor: I don't know. You'll probably go to the cops, tell them I'm a deserter and a kidnapper. When they pick me up, I'll tell them that your little boyfriend killed his grandmother. With any luck, he'll go to jail --
Emily: Except there's a better solution. Let me help you. I can give you money. I can get you to -- to Canada --
Nikolas: Get away from her!
Connor: How about I kill you instead?
Emily: All right, calm --
Connor: Get out of the way!
Nikolas: Go on, Em, run.
Emily: Both of you, put the guns down! No one has to die.
Nikolas: Drop the gun, Connor. Police know about you. There's nowhere for you to go.
Connor: That ain't no problem.
Emily: No, we don't have to do this. Both of you, stop and think! Nikolas is just trying to protect me.
Connor: He killed my wife!
Nikolas: My grandmother killed your wife.
Emily: Yeah.
Connor: She'd still be here if it wasn't for you!
Emily: Okay, how will shooting each other make anything better?
Nikolas: Emily, he's a deserter and a kidnapper. You can't help him. Get out of the way!
Emily: Right, and let you shoot him? Think, Nikolas. Do you really want to do this? Connor, do you? If you pull the trigger first, will it change anything? Will it bring Mary back? And, Nikolas, please, try to understand what Connor’s been through -- the terrible things that he saw during war and dealing with Mary’s letters begging him to come home.
Nikolas: He's a traitor, Emily, and a coward. That's all he is.
Emily: What if you were a soldier, and I wrote that I couldn't live without you, literally? Wouldn't you have done anything, paid any price to make it back to me? And what if you risk court-martial, you -- you risk your own life only to find out that -- that I was dead, murdered? Nikolas, please. Connor's made mistakes, but we have, too. We can turn this around.
Emily sighs.
Connor: I just did.
Connor: Put the gun down. Put it down!
Emily: I'm trying to help you!
Connor: No. You're trying to get your boyfriend out of this alive. Would you -- would you just relax? It's going to be -- it's going to be a little more difficult to kill me than it was my wife.
Emily: All right, no one wanted Mary to die.
Connor: He did. You did, didn't you? Huh? How'd it feel? How did it feel to put a bullet in my wife? Did it feel good? Oh, that's right. That's right, it's a little different when somebody else is holding the gun, ain't it?
Nikolas: What are you going to do? Huh? You think you're going to kill her and then kill me, spend the rest of your life on the run?
Connor: Unless some rich guy grabs a gun from a cop, shoots me at point-blank range, and gets 100 hours of community service for it.
Emily: I swear to God, that's not what happened.
Connor: It don't matter. It don't matter no more. Everything I -- everything I’d been living for is dead! And I want justice for that.
Nikolas: Let her go, and you and I can deal with this, okay? Emily didn't hurt you. She tried to be a friend to Mary.
Connor: You shut your mouth. Don't you even say her name. Don't you use her memory like you used her when she was alive! My Mary was vulnerable, and she was lonely, and you used her. You lived with her in my house, and you slept with her in my bed! And when you were done with her you shot her!
Nikolas: Connor -- Connor, that's not what happened.
Connor: You think you can do whatever you want, huh? You think you can kill my wife, throw your own grandmother off a cliff? You think you can do that?
Emily: Helena was evil! She -- she used Mary! She probably helped drive her crazy.
Connor: No, no, he drove her crazy. You made her believe that you loved her. You made her believe that you were her husband.
Nikolas: Connor -- Connor, I couldn't. Remember, Mary lied to me.
Connor: Shut up. Did you realize -- huh? -- When you realized that she was sick or scared or whatever she was, did you call a doctor, did you try to get her help? No, no, you didn't do that. No, you left her, and then you killed her.
Emily: What about you, Connor? Where were you all this time?
Connor: I was in Canada trying to get back to here.
Emily: I bet if Mary had known you were alive --
Nikolas: Why -- why didn't you call her?
Connor: It's a little hard to get through the border these days, Einstein.
Nikolas: Why didn't you write her, send her an email? What --
Emily: All right, listen to me. If Mary had known that you were trying to get back to her, she would've done anything to help. She would've waited years. Or maybe it all would've worked out somehow. If Mary had known that you were alive, she'd be here now. You would've just finished dinner; she'd be clearing the table. You'd be safe, both of you, and so happy.
Gunshot.
Emily: No!
Emily: Oh, God, Nikolas -- Is he alive?
Nikolas: Yes, he has a pulse.
Emily: Wait, give me your cell phone!
Emily: All right, a man was shot at -- at 22 Black Bear Way. Please -- please hurry!
Nikolas: He's -- he's losing a lot of blood.
Emily: Oh, my God! He can't be --
Nikolas: What -- what happened?
Emily: I -- I was taking a bath. You -- you walked in -- that's what I thought. I didn't even look! Then I -- I touched the scar on his face and --
Siren.
Emily: God, when is this going to be over?
Doctor: This is the gunshot victim?
Paramedic: B.P.'s dropped to 90/50, heart rate's in the 140s, and we gave him one liter of fluid onboard.
Elizabeth: Nikolas? Nikolas? Oh, my God, what happened? What happened?
Doctor: Let's put him in Trauma One.
Emily: Elizabeth?
Elizabeth: Em, what -- Nikolas?
Nikolas: What?
Elizabeth: Well, I -- I thought you -- well -- who is that?
Emily: Connor Bishop.
Nikolas: Mary's husband.
Elizabeth: What? He's supposed to be dead!
Nikolas: Yeah, well --
Lucky: I just got the call. What happened?
Nikolas: Connor Bishop -- that's right, Connor Bishop -- kidnapped Emily out of the bathtub and dragged her to Mary’s house.
Emily: Listen, he faked his death so he could desert and come back to Mary.
Elizabeth: Oh, my God. If he'd only come back sooner, none of this would've happened.
Doctor: Nurse Webber, we need you.
Emily: All right.
Lucky: Okay, hey --
Nikolas: What?
Lucky: How did Connor get shot?
Emily: He grabbed me; he held a gun to my side.
Nikolas: I shot him, that's how he got shot.
Emily: It was in self-defense. Connor grabbed me at Wyndemere; he took me all the way over there.
Nikolas: I had an idea that's where they were and I went there.
Lucky: You went after him alone?
Nikolas: Lucky, if I would've reported the call and the blackmail, then he might've flipped out and killed her.
Lucky: What, the guy was blackmailing you?
Emily: No, not just Nikolas, both of us.
Lucky: For what?
Nikolas: He saw me kill Helena.
Nikolas: All right. Here's what happened. Helena had dropped the knife, and after that she -- she lunged at Emily. But I could've stopped her. I didn't have to throw her off the cliff.
Lucky: You know what? Helena deserved what she got.
Nikolas: That isn't my choice to make, Lucky. It isn't yours, either.
Emily: Nikolas wanted to tell the truth, and I convinced him not to. It's not as though Nikolas planned anything. It happened in the moment. It's -- Helena was threatening me.
Nikolas: Connor saw everything, Lucky. He knows it wasn't an accident. If he wakes up, he's going to tell the police.
Lucky: You better hope that Connor doesn't wake up.
Elizabeth gasps.
Connor: Go get me a cop.
