'Connor' is the true character of Nikolas Cassadine however, he has amnesia and believes that he is Connor Bishop.

Priest: Connor.

'Connor': Shh, shh. She's asleep.

Priest: Oh. Such a lovely young woman. She lost her fiancée not long ago. We had the memorial service here. Father Ramirez conducted the service.

'Connor': Yeah, I was here at the door of the church.

Priest: You know her?

'Connor': Never spoken to her.

Priest: Perhaps it's time the two of you met.

'Connor': Father, Father, just -- you know what, just let her sleep. She looks so peaceful; I don't have the heart to wake her up. I really need to get home, anyway.

Priest: Oh, I left your wages on the altar.

'Connor': Yeah, I found the envelope, thank you.

Priest: Oh, and one of the women in the parish made a plate of cookies for the young man who painted the church. Wait right here. I'll get it.

'Connor': Okay.

Priest: Shall we begin?

Emily: I want to thank you, dear God, for the miracle of your love, for the time you gave me and Nikolas together, for the years I had to grow up and to realize that he was more than a handsome boy who was out of my reach. He's the man I want to build my life around. I want to stand by his side every day that we live. And I ask you, dear God, to please, please help me to love him the way he deserves to be loved -- with patience and understanding and passion. And I pray that I will never lose sight of how blessed I am to be his wife.

'Connor': I, Nikolas, take thee, Emily, to be my wife. I promise to share your burdens and keep your secrets. I promise that I will stand by your side no matter what challenges we face. I promise to trust you and believe in you, and I promise that I will love you forever. I give you this ring as a symbol of my life and my faith.

Emily: I, Emily, take thee, Nikolas, to be my husband. I promise to have your children and to support you through good times and bad. I promise to believe in you and to trust you with all of my secrets and hopes and fears. And I promise that I will love you forever. I don't have a ring to give you, so I give you my heart instead.

Priest: You may kiss the bride.

Emily: Nikolas?

Priest: Are you all right?

Emily: My dream was so real. Nikolas and I were getting married right there at the altar. I could feel his hands in mine as we said our vows. And then I woke up. And for a split second, I was sure he was actually here.

Priest: I'm so sorry.

Emily: It hurts so much knowing that he's never coming back.

Priest: You'll always have memories and some measure of solace in the time you had together.

Emily: Thanks for everything, Father.

Priest: Why don't you stay a while? I'll brew some tea.

Emily: No, I need to get home.

Priest: Well, it's pouring rain and the storm will let up in a bit. Just stay a half-hour?

Emily: No, I'll be fine, thank you.

Tires screech and the car crashes.

'Connor': Emily? Emily? Are you okay? It's okay. It's okay. Here. Oh, God. Emily? Emily, are you okay? Oh, God.

Mary: My God, Emily.

'Connor': Yeah, I was walking on the side of the road and her car spun into a ditch.

Mary: She's unconscious.

'Connor': She's got a pretty nasty cut on her head right here.

Mary: I'll take care of her.

'Connor': We need to call for help, Mary.

Mary: I will, but first you need to get out of sight.

'Connor': Well, I'll just -- I'll help you till the ambulance gets here.

Mary: No, I don't want her to know you're here. You're an AWOL marine. She could say something. People could come back here and look for you.

'Connor': Okay. All right, I’ll be in my room.

Emily: Mary?

Mary: You were in a car accident.

Emily: I remember. You -- you found me?

Mary: Yeah. Yeah, you have a pretty nasty bump on your head. Do you feel hurt anywhere else?

Emily: I -- I don't think so.

Mary: It was raining pretty hard out there. You must have hit a slick spot and lost control.

Emily: No. I saw a man by the side of the road. It was Nikolas.

Jason is talking on the phone in progress...

Jason: Okay. Well, don't let them leave. It's very important. I'm on my way.

Phone rings.

Jason: Yeah?

Mary: Jason Morgan?

Jason: Who's asking?

Mary: This is Mary Bishop. We met at the hospital.

Jason: How'd you get this number?

Mary: Your sister asked me to call you. She's been in an accident.

Jason: What happened? Is she hurt?

Mary: She ran her car into a ditch. She's at my house.

Jason: Where are you?

Mary: 22 Black Bear Way, between the river and the church where the memorial was.

Jason: Okay, I'm on my way.

Emily: It couldn't have been Nikolas. I know that in my head. But I guess in my heart, I just can't let go.

Mary: I know what you mean. The same thing happened to me with Connor.

Emily: I just -- I keep feeling Nikolas' presence, Mary. I just -- and seeing him everywhere. You know, I -- I fell asleep in the church and I dreamed about Nikolas, and we were getting married. And then I woke up and I just -- I had this overwhelming sense that he had actually been there in the church with me.

Mary: That's how much you miss him.

Emily: I think my heart aches so deeply for Nikolas that I’m actually in pain. I think that's why my eyes keep playing tricks on me, why I thought I saw him at the car door after the crash and along the road in the rain. But it -- it was you who rescued me, Mary. Thank you. I don't mean to seem ungrateful. I just --

Mary: No, no. I understand.

Knock on door.

Jason: Hey.

Emily: Hey.

Jason: How you feeling?

Emily: Better.

Jason: Yeah, you hit your head. Are you dizzy? You nauseous? Anything?

Emily: No, uh-uh. I think I'm just feeling more ridiculous than anything. I -- I lost control of my car and I put Mary to all of this trouble having to haul me all the way back here. I'm fine.

Jason: Yeah, I saw your car. It's more than a mile down the road. I mean, you couldn't have carried Emily back here. How'd she get here?

Mary: I was driving by when I saw Emily’s car on the side of the road. I managed to get her in the passenger seat and drove home.

Jason: Well, I'm going to carry you out of here, okay?

Emily: I didn't hurt my legs, Jase. I'm fine.

Jason: Well, will you at least lean on me so I can help you?

Emily: Yeah, I think I can manage.

Jason: All right, come on. Oh, yeah.

Emily: Ah.

Jason: Okay.

Emily: All right.

Jason: Just be careful.

Emily: Thanks, Mary. Thank you.

Mary: You're welcome. I'm glad you're okay.

Emily: Thank God Mary drove by and found me. Lorenzo Alcazar?

Jason: Yeah, I wonder what it was doing at Mary’s house.

Emily: I don't know. Come on.

Mary: You can come out now. They're gone.

'Connor': Who was that guy?

Mary: Emily's brother.

'Connor': Was he questioning you?

Mary: Yeah, a little. Why, how much did you hear?

'Connor': Well, I was tempted to eavesdrop, but the last time I tried to do that, I almost gave myself away, so I just sat on the floor out of sight of the window, waiting to hear from you.

Mary: I'm glad. It's better if Emily doesn't know you're here.
