'Connor' is the true character of Nikolas Cassadine however, he has amnesia and believes that he is Connor Bishop.
Mary: Hey. Oh, wow. This place is great.
'Connor': Yeah, it's almost finished.
Mary: The priest is going to be thrilled.
'Connor': Maybe he'll give me a good recommendation on my next job.
Mary: We can live on what I make at General Hospital, you know.
'Connor': Mary, we've had this discussion already. I'm not just going to sit back and allow you to support me.
Mary: Okay, I just mean it's no rush, that's all.
'Connor': What was I good at before, anyway, before I joined the marines? Hmm? Brain surgery? Space travel? Landscaping? Tend bar? Walk the dogs? What?
Mary: You were brilliant at making me happy.
'Connor': Thanks. I was lousy at everything else, huh?
Mary: No, no, I didn't say that.
'Connor': Did I even graduate high school?
Mary: Yes.
'Connor': Yes, but?
Mary: You had to take summer school after you graduated.
'Connor': Why?
Mary: You flunked Spanish twice, but it's not a big deal. A lot of people have problems with foreign languages.
'Connor': Okay, well, what about the other subjects?
Mary: School wasn't really your thing.
'Connor': Okay, so joining the marines wasn't my choice. It was my only option.
'Connor': Hey, you're back.
Alcazar: It's peaceful here.
'Connor': Well, maybe it's just paint fumes.
Alcazar: Possibly.
'Connor': Yeah.
Alcazar: Have you recovered any more of your memory yet? Connor -- that's your name, isn't it?
'Connor': Yes, yes, Connor Bishop, Lorenzo Alcazar. Short-term memory's fine, but pretty much -- pretty much everything before mid-March of this year's still a blank.
Alcazar: Well, then here we are -- you pray to remember and I pray to forget.
'Connor': Yeah, be careful what you pray for.
Alcazar: That may be right. To me, erasing the past would be a miracle, but to you it must be terrifying. I'd like to help. Have you given any more thought to working for me?
Phone rings.
Alcazar: Oh, excuse me a second.
'Connor': Yeah, sure, no problem.
Alcazar: Si. Cual es el problema? Por cuanto tiempo es el retraso? Todo eso habia sido arreglado. De niguagna manera considerare una renegociacion. Tu familia no te ensena buenas maneras. Se de mal gusto escuchar las conversaciones privadas de los de mas.
'Connor': No lo siento. No fue mi intencion escuchar tu conversacion.
Alcazar: Hmm.
'Connor': Yo no hablo espanol muy bien.
Alcazar: Who told you you don't speak Spanish very well?
'Connor': My wife.
Man: Emily?
Emily: Hi. Is -- is that Sam McCall’s prescription?
Man: She said to give this to you.
Emily: Okay, I'll take care of it. Thank you. Mary?
Mary: Hey. I got called in again.
Emily: Oh, gosh. Audrey must like your work.
Mary: Oh, it's because I’m always available, the solitary life and all that.
Emily: Gee, maybe I’m lucky to have my family in town after all.
Mary: Oh, you are, believe me.
Emily: Yeah, then again, you haven't met my family. Would you like to?
Mary: Meet your family?
Emily: We're having an engagement party tonight, which will be completely weird, but --
Mary: What's so weird about an engagement party?
Emily: You kind of have to be there to understand, but you want to risk it?
Mary: Well, I don't want to intrude.
Emily: No, listen Mary, you'll be doing me a favor. My family's always on their best behavior whenever a stranger's around, so --
Mary: Are you sure?
Emily: Well, not always, but, yeah, most of the time, they're --
Mary: No. I mean, about me going to the party?
Emily: Listen, after meeting the Quartermaines, you'll have a whole new appreciation for the solitary life.
Mary: Then I’d love to, thank you.
Emily: Thank you, Mary. You have no idea how much I appreciate this.
Mary: Oh, it can't be all that bad.
Emily: Just wait and see.
Alcazar: Why would your wife say you can't speak Spanish?
'Connor': I don't know, but she said I failed it in high school twice.
Alcazar: Your Spanish is excellent, and your accent -- you definitely didn't learn Spanish in the street or in some high school classroom somewhere. Could your wife be mistaken?
'Connor': I doubt it. She knows the details of my life better than anyone.
Alcazar: Hmm. Look, I do a lot of business in South America. I need a courier. You think you'd be interested?
'Connor': Well, what would I carry?
Alcazar: Nothing illegal or dangerous, just documents, work orders, contracts, that sort of thing.
'Connor': El trabajo parece demasiado bueno para ser de verdad.
Alcazar: Yo pago bien. Ademas me imagino que te disfutarias viajar.
'Connor': Si, seguramente me encantaria. Vivir en el campo tiene --
Mary: Connor?
'Connor': Hi. Well, it turns out that I speak Spanish after all.
Alcazar: With perfect fluency.
'Connor': I'd like you to meet my wife. Mary Bishop. This is Lorenzo Alcazar.
Alcazar: Nice to meet you, Mrs. Bishop.
Mary: Nice to meet you, too.
Emily: How could Laura just disappear?
Lucky: You know what? I don't know, but just -- it just doesn't make sense.
Emily: Isn't her London hospital supposed to be famous for security?
Lucky: Yeah, well, she just hasn't made any progress at all, and Nikolas, he moved her to Montréal a few months ago.
Emily: Is -- is she still unresponsive?
Lucky: Yeah, last time I saw her, and now she's just out there somewhere.
Emily: Hey, listen, you know, I know this is the worst possible time, but would you do me a favor?
Lucky: Sure. What do you need?
Emily: I need a date to a very weird engagement party. Get this -- Tracy and Jax.
Lucky: They're going through with it?
Emily: Yeah, I could really use some moral support tonight.
Lucky: You know, you're pretty amazing. You know that?
Emily: Why? Because I asked you to a very strange party?
Lucky: No -- because you're trying to make me feel useful by letting me take care of you.
Emily: You're the best friend I have left. We're just pulling each other through, that's all.
Lucky: You can count me in.
Emily: Okay.
Alcazar: You still have my phone number?
'Connor': Yes. I saved the card. I just need to work out a few details, and then I'll call you, but thanks for the opportunity.
Alcazar: Glad to be of assistance.
'Connor': Thanks.
Mary: I wonder where you learned how to speak Spanish.
'Connor': I have no idea, but it just got me a job offer.
Mary: Well, doing what?
'Connor': Working as a courier to South America.
Mary: Because you speak Spanish?
'Connor': All right, now, are you sure that I flunked Spanish twice in high school? I mean, it feels like I've always known the language.
Mary: Maybe you learned it in the Marines.
'Connor': Why would I need to speak Spanish in Iraq?
Mary: Well, you could have been shipped out to Guantanamo Bay and you were going to surprise me.
'Connor': I suppose it's possible, but, I mean --
Mary: Well, it could be the head injury. I've heard these things happen all the time -- people waking up from a coma and speaking with a German accent or sounding like the Queen of England.
'Connor': Yeah, I would like to see a specialist about my head injury.
Mary: We can't afford a specialist, Connor. My health insurance won't kick in for at least several months.
'Connor': Maybe I can just pay cash for it with the money that I’d earned working for Mr. Alcazar.
Mary: You can't go to South America. You'll be arrested before you even leave the country.
'Connor': Yeah, yeah, you're probably right. I didn't expect you to be back here so soon.
Mary: Oh, the person I was filling in for finally came back, and there was nothing to do over there.
'Connor': Well, I need to finish this.
Mary: You want me to help? Oh, I was supposed to have dinner with Emily, but I could cancel.
'Connor': No. Just because I have to live like a hermit doesn't mean you do.
Jax: If you'll excuse me.
Skye: Hmm.
Jax: Did you find a way to exonerate yourself, yet?
Skye: Not yet.
Jax: Where's Luke?
Skye: Montreal. Long story.
Jax: Is he even looking for the killer?
Skye: Maybe. In a way.
Jax: Come on, Skye. This is not good enough. Now, I’m bailing you out here. You got to do your part, okay? You got to find the man who killed that cop, and soon.
Mary: Oh --
Emily: Hi.
Mary: This place is enormous.
Emily: Thank you.
Alice: You're welcome.
Lucky: Actually, we used to skateboard in the halls upstairs.
Emily: Yeah, even then the place was crawling with maniacs, Mary. Come on, let's go in.
Emily: Hi.
Alan: Hi, Em! There's my sweet girl.
Emily: How are you?
Monica: Hey.
Emily: Hi.
Edward: Emily.
Alan: Hey, Lucky, good to see you. You don't come around anymore.
Lucky: Yeah, the job's been keeping me pretty busy.
Emily: Everyone, I'd like to introduce Mary Bishop.
Alan: Hi, Mary. You work at the hospital, don't you?
Mary: That's right.
Alan: Audrey says you're excellent.
Mary: Thank you. It's a great place to work.
Edward: It's a pleasure to meet you, Mary. Our Emily’s had a rough time. Nice to see that she has a new friend.
Alice: Hey, this is a family celebration.
Alcazar: We were invited. Sage: I wasn't. Can we go?
Alcazar: No.
Alice: Give me your coats.
Alcazar: Coat? Thank you. Try to enjoy yourself, all right? Sage: Yeah, but what if Dillon’s here?
Alcazar: Then you make up with him; be friends again. Sage: After what his crazy mother did? There's no possible way that I can --
Tracy: Lorenzo, I'm so glad you could join us. And I see you've brought your charming niece. Sage: You ruined my life.
Tracy: Teenagers -- got to love them -- or not.
Alcazar: I'm sure we can work through any misunderstanding for the sake of business, if nothing else. I've always found the Quartermaines to be intriguing and open to opportunity.
'Connor' speaks Greek.
'Connor': I know this. "When I was a child, I spoke as a child, understood as a child. I thought as a child. But when I became a man, I put away childish things."
'Connor' speaks Greek.
'Connor': "But the greatest of these is love."
Tracy: And finally, Emily’s friend from the hospital -- Nancy.
Alcazar: Mary. Mary Bishop.
Tracy: You know each other?
Alcazar: We've met. I'm surprised to see you here.
Mary: You, too.
Alice: Dinner's ready.
Tracy: Oh, Jax isn't back yet.
Edward: Do we really want to keep Cook waiting?
Tracy: Well, I suppose you have a point, and I'm sure my fiancé will be along in no time.
Alcazar: It was so nice of you to befriend Emily. Losing Nikolas was a terrible blow.
Mary: Please. I know you don't have any reason to keep my secret, but if you tell them that Nikolas is Connor, I will lose everything.
Phone rings.
Alcazar: Yes.
'Connor': Mr. Alcazar?
Alcazar: Connor. Glad to hear from you.
'Connor': I'll -- I'll take the job. I'd like to start as soon as possible.
Alcazar: I'm glad to hear that.
Emily: Hey, I picked up your vitamins, but I have to get through this party, okay? I'll drop them off later. Give me a call. Thanks.
Jax: Sam's pregnant?
