'Connor' is the true character of Nikolas Cassadine however, he has amnesia and believes that he is Connor Bishop.

The scene comes in on 'Connor' and Emily standing close, the kiss happens and Emily and 'Connor' are plastered together; 'Connor' is sucking on Emily's lip.

'Connor': Did he touch your face?

Emily: I think so.

'Connor': Did you realize he was going to kiss you?

Emily: Not until it happened.

They are still standing close, 'Connor' pulls away and puts space between the two of them.

'Connor': I can't, I can't. I shouldn't have done that.

Emily: I wanted to kiss you. It -- it made me happier than I've been in a long time.

'Connor': Emily, Emily, I'm married. It isn't fair to you or Mary.

Emily: We didn't plan it. It just happened.

'Connor': No, I -- but I have a commitment, okay? I have an obligation.

Emily: What about the obligation to yourself? Are you sorry you kissed me?

Once again, 'Connor' and Emily are standing close. 'Connor' looks like he wants to kiss her again but backs away. Emily follows him, to stand close for a little bit.

'Connor': Look, I don't want you to think that I came here under false pretenses. I did not plan on kissing you.

Emily: Neither of us did.

'Connor': I really enjoy being with you.

Emily: Can you do me a favor?

'Connor': What?

Emily: Can we just drop all of our expectations and just let things take their course and see what happens?

'Connor': Like that kiss?

Emily: Do you honestly regret it?

'Connor': No.

Emily: Well, let's not overthink it.

'Connor': Oh. But I shouldn't have let that happen. I'm married. I shouldn't have --

Emily: I don't expect anything more. Please don't feel guilty.

'Connor': Well, how else can I feel, though?

Emily: Look, you almost died. Now you have a second chance. Life is so fragile, so much can go wrong. Don't you owe it to yourself to follow your heart?

'Connor': I can't replace the man you lost, Emily.

The scene closes on Emily's face. We see her stunned but knowing expression.

The duo continues to stand the study.

Emily: I don't want you to replace anyone. You are who you are -- I accept that. I'm sorry if that kiss made you uncomfortable.

'Connor': It didn't. That's why it's uncomfortable. You know, I'm supposed to -- I'm supposed to love mary, but I -- I just -- I feel like I'm trying -- I'm trying so hard to convince myself that everything is perfect and it isn't.

Emily: Aren't you happy?

'Connor': Well, I should be. I mean, Mary -- she's been incredible. She's been loving, supportive and -- but it's --

Emily: But what?

'Connor' walks away a bit, pacing.

'Connor': But I just -- I feel like I'm just trying to fit the mold, Emily, like trying to act like the Connor that she's described, the husband that she expects, but the pieces -- they don't fit. I mean, I feel like I'm putting on clothes that are the wrong size.

Emily: Have you told Mary?

'Connor': I've tried. But it scares her. She deserves better than that.

Emily: She deserves the truth.

'Connor' approaches Emily again, he's getting closer and closer, his hands caressing her shoulders. They are is an inch seperating their faces.

'Connor': And I have tried to give it to her. You see, that's -- that's the difference between you and Mary. With you, I just -- I don't -- I don't have to try. It just, it feels -- it feels so good just to let my guard down and say whatever I feel. It's so easy to be with you.

Emily: Then be with me.

'Connor' is leaning on a desk, Emily is over in the corner. She's uncovered one of those old old record players and is looking through the different records. 'Connor' moves to stand around the fireplace as Emily talks.

Emily: The first big dance I ever attended was in this house. The Bacchanalia Ball.

'Connor': The Baccha what?

Emily laughs.

Emily: Bacchanalia. It's a Cassadine tradition from the 19th century. Everyone wore period attire. The men were elegant, the women beautiful.

'Connor': Including you.

Emily: I'd never worn a hoop skirt before. I kept trying to blend into the woodwork. I felt totally out of place. I even thought about leaving. But then Nikolas found me, and a waltz was playing. And he walked right up to me, and he asked me to dance. I mumbled "yes," certain I'd made a complete fool out of myself.

'Connor' moves to sit on the edge of the couch, watching her. He picks up a gold brocade pillow and holds it.

'Connor': But you danced gracefully instead.

Emily: It wasn't that much of a fairy tale, but pretty close. Nikolas spun me around the dance floor, and it felt as if we were flying, in perfect sync. I've never forgotten that feeling.

Emily takes a record, the camera zooms in. She puts the record on and walks towards 'Connor'. He puts the pillow down.

Emily: Dance with me?

'Connor': No -- you may be disappointed.

Emily: I'll risk it.

'Connor': Okay.

'Connor' takes Emily's hands and they begin to dance. He spins her around and they move around the room, beaming smiles on their faces.

'Connor': Ready?

Emily: Yeah.

'Connor': Okay. Here we go.

Emily: Okay.

The waltzing continues and 'Connor' spins them around. They are laughing and collaspe back against the couch, Emily resting on 'Connor'; their lips inches apart.

Emily: Oh, I'm dizzy.

'Connor': Whew. Yeah.

Emily: And breathless.

'Connor':They look at each other and start to kiss, 'Connor's body moves over Emily's, his hands coming up to hold her head as her arms wind around his neck.
