Nikolas: Maybe I should just give up. The harder I try to remember, the more frustrated I get. And I don't want to waste any more time trying to -- trying to capture something that's already in the past.
Mary: What?
Nikolas sighs.
Nikolas: I just want to escape all this.
Alcazar: It's funny you should mention that. Escape would be a timely thing.
Alcazar: Take Faith out of the country -- the Caribbean, to be exact. My yacht is anchored at the pier. Mary can go along and Faith will ride below decks in case someone comes onboard unexpectedly.
Mary: Well, who's she running from, the police?
Alcazar: Faith got herself in a little trouble with the Corinthos organization. They might be looking for her.
Faith: "Might be"? Sonny and his no-necks are trying to kill me. So I don't mean to be rude or anything, but a decision would be really nice.
Mary: Wait, I don't like the sound of this. I don't want you to be in danger.
Nikolas: I'll make that decision, thank you.
Alcazar: I'm surprised you'd object.
Nikolas: Why is that?
Alcazar: Mary gave me the impression the two of you wanted to get as far away from Emily as possible.
Nikolas: What the hell is this? What, are you conspiring behind my back?
Mary: No, there's no big conspiracy. Lorenzo and I know how frustrated you've been and we just thought it would be a good idea if you and I got away for a while, that's all.
Faith: Do we really have to stand here and listen to these two lumber through their domestic woes? You promised me safe passage out of Port Charles, and I won't need it if Sonny has all the time in the world to find me.
Alcazar: I usually make it a practice to disagree with Faith, but she makes a valid point. Time is a factor.
Nikolas: When I said "escape," I didn't mean run away.
Faith: You're not running away, I am.
Alcazar: Obviously, you need time to consider. Just call me when you've reached your decision.
Mary: So, what do you think?
Nikolas: I don't -- I don't know. I have been thinking that, yeah, maybe I should put distance between me and Emily. I don't know, maybe this is the answer.
Emily: Answer to what?
Mary: Who let you in?
Emily: Lorenzo Alcazar and Faith Rosco were on the way out.
Mary: Well, you should've followed them. Why can't you just leave Nikolas alone? He doesn't want to see you. Your clinginess is only aggravating the situation.
Emily: And what situation would that be, Mary? The one that you started when you stole my fiancée and then hand-fed him a lie in place of his real life?
Mary: That's behind us. Nikolas and I are moving on from where we are right now, and whether you like it or not, he has feelings for me.
Nikolas: All right, that's enough. I'm not -- I’m not going to allow the two of you to debate over me like I’m not standing right here in the room. Why are you here, Emily? I thought I made it clear that I’m not stopping my life to chase after memories.
Emily: And I thought I made it clear I’m never giving up on you.
Mary: Well, you might not have a choice. We're going away, Nikolas and I. Maybe for a long time, right?
Emily: This wouldn't have anything to do with Alcazar?
Nikolas: Look, I'm not going to get into any of that with you, okay?
Emily: So then it's true? What, you're -- you're taking Mary away?
Nikolas: Yes.
Emily: Then enjoy your trip. But for the record, I'll wait for the rest of my life if it comes to that.
Alcazar: The launch captain said you wanted us to come back.
Nikolas: Yes. I'll make sure Faith gets to the Caribbean.
Faith: Hallelujah.
Alcazar: All right, travel light, be inconspicuous.
Nikolas: I understand.
Alcazar: Still have the gun I gave you?
Nikolas: Yes.
Alcazar: Take it. There's always a margin for error.
Faith: We want to avoid that.
Nikolas: You'll get my best.
Alcazar: I'll see you at midnight.
Nikolas: All right, I'll be there with Mary.
Alcazar: Great.
Emily: Hey.
Lucky: Hey.
Emily: Did Jax say who shot him?
Lucky: No, for some reason, he's not talking.
Emily: I think I might know. Nikolas just agreed to take Faith Rosco out of the country for Alcazar.
Lucky: Oh, my God, that makes sense. Faith knows that Sonny intended to kill her, so she goes to Jax. He won't help her, so she shoots him, and then goes to Alcazar.
Emily: See, I don't care about that. I'm worried about Nikolas. He's working for Alcazar again. He's taking on dangerous assignments, and it looks like good old Mary’s all for it. God, that woman; she goes on and on about how she wants what's best for Nikolas when all she really cares about is having him for herself, even if it kills him.
Lucky: Emily -- all right, hey, don't worry about Nikolas. I won't let anything happen to him. All right? But this proves even more that he is becoming a stranger.
Emily: I know. Maybe it's my fault. You know, I've been pushing so hard, Lucky.
Lucky: No, don't you dare take this on, all right? It's the amnesia that's the problem.
Ric: So what have you got? Jax reveal the identity of his shooter?
Lucky: You know Jax. He refuses to answer any questions. He claims that he's waiting for his attorney.
Ric: Damn it. I don't understand why Jax is stonewalling. He's usually very cooperative with the police. Unless you're not telling me everything.
Lucky: I have no reason to protect Jax or whoever shot him.
Ric: Well, Emily is very close with Jason, and I’ve noticed that you're very close with Emily. I just want to make sure there's no conflict of interest here, Lucky.
Lucky: No, none at all.
Ric: Hope not. Keep digging.
Emily: You're putting yourself in the middle, Lucky, your career on the line.
Lucky: No, I'm not in the middle, Emily, my brother is. But I may be the only one to get him out of it.
Nikolas: What the hell?
Lucky: Hey, whoa, you don't need that.
Nikolas: How did you --
Lucky: Hey, I heard you had visitors, so I used the tunnels. Looks like no one told you about the tunnels.
Nikolas: What gives you the right to come to my house uninvited?
Lucky: I'm trying to keep you alive. Don't you realize helping Faith Rosco puts you against just about everybody in town?
Nikolas: That's not your concern, lucky.
Lucky: Well, you are my brother.
Nikolas: What? I'm no more your brother than Emily’s my long-lost love. All right? I don't give a damn about either one of you, and I wish you'd both leave me the hell alone.
Emily: You don't mean that.
