Connor Bishop is also played by Tyler Christopher, who plays Nikolas Cassadine.

Chamber music plays.

Elizabeth: Hey.

Alan: Where's Emily?

Elizabeth: She'll be here.

Alan: Well, what's taking so long?

Elizabeth: She's a bride. She wants to be perfect. Don't worry. She's almost ready.

Emily: Connor.

Connor: Hello.

Emily: What are you doing here?

Connor: I came here for you.

Chamber music plays.

Lucky: Calm down. She'll be here.

Alan: I'm going to check on Emily.

Elizabeth: Just give her a couple minutes.

Lulu: Maybe she ran away.

Elizabeth: Hey, you know before a dance recital, when you get butterflies in your tummy?

Lulu: Mm-hmm.

Elizabeth: Well, that's how Emily feels right now. She's just a little nervous.

Emily: What happened? Did you escape?

Connor: I got a dishonorable discharge. Turns out my leave had already been granted and my jerk of a C.O. was holding on to the papers. Emily, if I'd have stayed with my unit just a few days longer, I wouldn't be here right now.

Emily: None of this would have happened.

Connor: Mary and I'd be getting ready for Christmas. She loved Christmas. Anyway, the charges are dropped. I'm free.

Emily: And Nikolas is going to prison for the rest of his life.

Connor: I wish I could put your life back together.

Emily: Nikolas and I only have a few hours, and you won't ruin one more second. So leave.

Connor: I'm sorry. I'm sorry for everything. I know that ain't much, but that's all I have.

Emily: Connor, please, just go.

Connor: Be happy.

Emily: Connor was just leaving.

Nikolas: I'm turning you in.

Emily: All the charges have been dropped, Nikolas.

Connor: My leave had already been granted.

Nikolas: Wow, Connor. Just think of all the suffering that could have been avoided if you'd have just waited for your paperwork to be processed.

Connor: I know. And I apologize for that. I truly regret all the pain that I caused Emily and you.

Nikolas: You know he won't leave it at that.

Emily: He just did, Nikolas. And we're late for a wedding, our wedding.

Mac: I don't like this. Emily and Nikolas are both gone.

Felicia: I doubt if they made a run for it. But if they did, I hope they're halfway to Canada by now.

Music stops.

Nikolas: Sorry for the delay. Everything's fine. It's fine. I'm ready for a wedding. Are you?

Man: Yeah!

Pachelbel's "Canon" plays as Elizabeth walks down the aisle. The "Bridal March" plays as Emily walks down the aisle on Alan's arm. The music ceases.

Father Coates: Please be seated. Dearly beloved, family and friends, we're gathered today to honor Emily Quartermaine and Nikolas Cassadine and to celebrate their joyous union as husband and wife.

Father Coates: Many of us know what it cost for Emily and Nikolas to be here today. We know what their love has survived so far and that challenges lie ahead. But their love is rare, priceless. It is to be honored and protected at all costs. You may say your vows.

Emily: I've dreamed of this day since the first moment I saw you. And this dream carried me through illness and through despair. This dream gave me the courage to hold on when all reason told me to let go. You're my first love. Nikolas, you're my only one. And I'll stay by your side, as close as I can, for the rest of my life. I promise to believe in you and to honor you, to be the constant in your life, as you'll be in mine.

Emily places the wedding ring on Nikolas' finger.

Emily: From this day forward, you'll always be with me, and I'll be with you, till death do us part.

Nikolas: Okay. In my heart, I'm already married to you. And I have been for a long time. I mean, we've survived fire, mass confusion, the Cassadines. And speaking of them -- my family has taught me many things over the years, but you taught me how to love and how to get past my fear and my anger. You taught me how to hold on, how to forgive. And I am so sorry that the future we are facing is not the one I planned for you and that the life I am giving you is not the one you deserve. But I know that we will find a way to make each other happy. We may have lost the dream, but I promise you that we will win this silence because we have each other and we have our love and this -- this single perfect moment right now. And for me, I will always have that smile, your determination, your hope, and your faith. And no matter where we are in this crazy world, I promise you that I will be right there with you.

Nikolas places the wedding ring on Emily's finger.

Nikolas: You are so beautiful. And I'm not just asking you to be my wife. I'm inviting you to be my lover and my friend and my partner, for as long as we both shall live.

Father Coates: If any person can show just cause as to why these two should not be lawfully joined together, speak now or forever hold your peace.

Nikolas: Okay.

Father Coates: I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.

"Wedding march" plays as Nikolas and Emily kiss and then walk down the aisle..

Monica: Well, young lady, you gave us quite a scare. What happened? Why were you so late?

Emily: I just wanted everything to be perfect.

Alan: Well, it certainly was.

Emily: Yeah.

Monica: You know, Paige would have been very, very proud of you.

Emily: Yeah, I felt her watching over us today. Didn't you?

Monica: Mm-hmm.

Emily: And so was Grandmother.

Monica: Most definitely.

Emily: I'm happier than I've ever been.

Lucky: Hey, everyone, I'd like to make a toast.

Alan: All right, then, Lucky, go.

Lucky: To Emily. Not very long ago, we were skateboarding in the hallways upstairs.

Alan: Who could forget all the noise.

Lucky: We taught Nikolas how to make it in the real world. You know, how to make toast. We even taught him how to put gas in his own car.

Elizabeth: Now, that was a challenge.

Lucky: Well, nobody expected things to turn out this way or that my brother would fall so completely in love with my best friend. I wish you both the very best. Here's to the luckiest man in the world.

Nikolas: Here.

All: Hear, hear.

Elizabeth: Cheers. Okay, now I would like to present the first dance of Mr. and Mrs. Nikolas Cassadine.

Steven: Bravo, bravo.

Music plays and Nikolas and Emily being to dance.

Lucky: Thanks for helping me out.

Elizabeth: Hey, I'm just doing my job as the Matron of Honor. Anyway, you promised me a dance.

Lucky: And you got it.

Elizabeth: Ok, everyone, it's time to throw the bouquet. Come on, come around! Bobbie, come up, and Felicia, Tracy, Angela.

Alan: Tracy? Come on, Tracy.

Monica: Tracy.

Felicia: What about you? You're single.

Emily: She's right, Elizabeth.

Elizabeth: No, no, no, I'm the Matron of Honor. I don't have to go!

Nikolas: Go, go, go, go, go. Do it!

Felicia: All right. Ready, set -- go!

Elizabeth catches the bouquet.

Nikolas: Excuse me. Listen, I wanted to thank you for being the first Spencer to welcome me and treat me like family.

Bobbie: Aw, Nikolas, you are family. I just wish your mother could be here, because Laura would love every second of this.

Nikolas: I know. I keep thinking she's going to walk through the door.

Bobbie: Well, she is here with you in spirit, and she loves you very much.

Nikolas: Yeah.

Lucky: Okay, it's me again. All you single guys, front and center.

Sam (to Jason): Oh, that's you. Come on, go. Go. He's tossing the garter. Go. Do it. Do it. Seriously.

Dillon: Oh, oh, oh.

Man: Whoa.

oman: Whoo-hoo.

Nikolas: On the other leg.

Nikolas takes the garter off of Emily's leg.

Sam (to Jason): Sexy.

Nikolas: Ready? All right, get over there.

Man: All right, here it comes.

Sam: One --

Nikolas: All right, one --

Sam: Two --

Nikolas: Two, three!

Nikolas throws the garter and Jason catches it.

Lucky: Oh!

Nikolas: Ahem.

Emily: Hey.

Nikolas: Hi.

Emily: I'm sorry about the garter.

Jason: Yeah.

Emily: We were just kidding around.

Nikolas: Sorry. I was aiming for Lucky.

Emily: You were?

Nikolas: Yeah.

Emily: I was aiming for Elizabeth.

Jason: Emily, you know I'm proud of you, right?

Emily: Well, if I ever had any doubts, you proved it by actually attending the reception.

Jason: I just -- you know, I just want you to be happy. And you are, and that's all that matters.

Emily: Thanks.

Emily: This whole night has been so perfect and exactly as I dreamed.

Lucky: Hey, what are you guys still standing around for?

Emily: What?

Lucky: I spent a fortune on this hotel suite for you guys.

Nikolas: Oh.

Lucky: Now go.

Nikolas: Thanks.

Lucky: Hey. Whoa, whoa, whoa. All right.

Elizabeth: Love you guys. Okay, go, go, go, go, go! Go on.

Elizabeth: And they lived happily ever after.

Lucky: I hope so. They deserve the best of everything. So do you.

Elizabeth: I'm doing all right.

Lucky: Yeah.

Nikolas: I love you, Mrs. Cassadine.

Emily: I love you, too.
