Helena: Well, good morning, my darling. Are you ready to get to work? I am going to teach you about your true self.

Helena: Tell me your name.

Nikolas: Nikolas.

Helena: No. Nikolas Mikhail Stavrossovich Cassadine. Prince Cassadine.

Nikolas: Prince of Nothing.

Helena: Oh, Nikolas, you know that's not true. They told you so many lies. You are Prince of the Cassadines, a line that goes back hundreds of years to Tsarist Russia. Oh, the Cassadines were very powerful, wealthy beyond imagining, and wise. Oh, they saw the revolution coming, and they left with enough of their wealth to start again. They bought an island. Do you remember that island, Nikolas?

Nikolas: Wyndemere.

Helena: No. No, not that wretched pile of dirt out on the middle of the lake. Our island in Greece. Your home.

Nikolas: Home. She's there.

Helena: Who?

Nikolas: Emily. She's waiting for me.

Helena: Oh, no, Nikolas. Nikolas, she is the one who's trying to get control, to imprison you with her lies. Emily is the reason you are you are in this place. I had to save you from her.

Helena: Well. Dr. Grimes informs me that you've come to visit Nikolas.

Alexis: She has permission from a Judge. And if you try to interfere, it'll be a violation of Nikolas' rights.

Helena: Oh, there's no need to be so strident, Natasha. I have no objection if Miss Quartermaine wants to visit Nikolas.

Patricia: It could prove disruptive.

Alexis: I would advise you to stay out of this, or I will hit you with a malpractice suit that will send you into bankruptcy.

Helena: Well, as you can see, Dr. Grimes, my stepdaughter is a very determined -- some might say hostile -- woman. Now, I've learned from experience that it's best to let her have her way, within reason.

Emily: I'm going in to see Nikolas.

Helena: Fine. Please. But please be careful. Nikolas has been through a very difficult time.

Emily: Nikolas? Nikolas? Nikolas, it's Emily.

Nikolas: You -- you -- you made a mistake.

Helena: Well, my little Natasha, siding with that insipid Emily Quartermaine in a pathetic, final attempt to control Nikolas?

Alexis: No, you're projecting your own motives, Helena. We're simply trying to keep Nikolas away from you.

Helena: I've done nothing but tell him the truth. At last he's able to accept it.

Emily: Nikolas? Nikolas, have they been drugging you? Listen, what kind of medicine have they been giving you?

Nikolas: Leave me alone -- alone!

Emily: No, I'm trying to help you.

Nikolas: No, you're lying!

Emily: I love you! I'm trying to save you!

Nikolas: You took me to the house! You -- you told me that he touched your face when he kissed you, and it was me! It was me, and you didn't tell me it was me!

Emily: I -- I want to help you.

Nikolas: You didn't tell me you're mine, you're mine, you're mine. And you let him touch you! You let him touch you! You gave me to her. You gave me to her like -- like a puppy. You left me there because I couldn't remember who I was! Why did you do that?

Emily: Please listen to me! You forgave me!

Nikolas: I'll never forgive you! You -- you didn't want me, Emily, because I was broken. I was broken, so you went to my -- you went to him. You went to my -- you went to my brother! You went to my own brother and you wanted him --

Emily: Nikolas, I love you! I love you only!

Nikolas: Is this how you show me? Is this how you show me? By letting him touch you? By letting him have -- did he have you? Did he have -- did he have you?

Emily: Listen to me --

Nikolas: Did he have you?

Emily: Lucky kissed me. Nikolas, that's all. I don't love him. I love you.

Nikolas: You -- you liar. You're a liar! You're a liar!

Emily: Listen -- listen -- you love me, too, even now. That's why you can't hurt me. You never will.

Emily: Nikolas, do you remember the boathouse? You were waiting for me there.

Nikolas: I had to find you. I had to find you.

Emily: You trusted me, Nikolas. Trust me now. I'm going to get you out of here.

Nikolas: Don't. Don't do that.

Emily: Nikolas, Helena won't win. She can't. Our love is too strong.

Nikolas: No! You -- you want me to believe, you want me to hope, but it never lasts, Emily. It never lasts. I hold you -- I hold you, and the pain goes away, but it never lasts for me. It never lasts!

Emily: Helena is trying to control you. That's why she's doing this. That's --

Nikolas: No! You make it worse! You make it worse. I want you. I want you so bad. I want you. I won't let you control me.

Emily: Nikolas, Nikolas -- listen, listen -- that's not what I'm trying to do. That's not what I'm trying to do.

Nikolas: Go away!

Emily: Nikolas, please --

Nikolas: Go away. Go away! Leave me alone! Leave me alone!

Emily: I love you.

Nikolas: Oh!

Emily: Oh, my God.

Alexis: Are you all right?

Emily: Yeah. I hurt him so much.

Alexis: He's on all kinds of medication. He doesn't know what he's saying.

Emily: We have to get him out of here before Helena drives him permanently insane, Alexis.

Alexis: I will call Ric Lansing, and I will get him to call in a favor.

Emily: No, we don't have time, Alexis. We have to get him out of here now.

Knock on door.

Emily: Jase, I need to see you. Hey.

Jason: What happened?

Emily: It's about Nikolas. Helena has him locked up in Shadybrook.

Sam: The mental institution?

Emily: She's doing terrible things to him, to his mind. Please get him out of there. Do whatever you have to. Just bring him home for me before it's too late.

Patricia: Given the amount of medication in your grandson's system, it's remarkable that he can form coherent sentences, much less fight.

Helena: Well, he's always been very strong and resilient. His only flaw is the sentimental streak he inherited from his mother. Fortunately, it's been eradicated. How are you feeling, Nikolas?

Nikolas: Prince Nikolas. I know who I am now -- Prince of the Cassadines.

Helena: Oh, thank God! Oh, thank God it worked. Oh, yes, my darling. My darling, you are Prince Cassadine, on the threshold of becoming the man I always knew you could be.
