'Connor' is the true character of Nikolas Cassadine however, he has amnesia and believes that he is Connor Bishop.

Alexis: Emily, Nikolas would want you to have a memorial wherever you decided to have it.

Emily: Yeah. It's so hard to say goodbye. You know, maybe it'll help to celebrate Nikolas' life and remember all of the wonderful things he did and all the people whose lives he touched.

Alexis: Where are you going to have the ceremony?

Emily: There's a beautiful little church in the woods that Nikolas found. It's where we were going to get married.

'Connor': It's so peaceful. You come here a lot?

Mary: Just now and then. I'm going to light a candle. Do you want to come in?

'Connor': Okay.

Mary: What is it?

'Connor': I'm remembering something.

'Connor': I had an image.

Mary: Of what?

'Connor': We were in -- in this church -- in this church right here, saying wedding vows.

Mary: We weren't married here. We were married at a church back in Virginia.

'Connor': No, it was -- it was right here.

Mary: The church --

'Connor': Right here, just for -- just for a moment right here.

Mary: It was a lot like this one.

'Connor': Tell me about our wedding. Please -- please help me remember.

Emily: Nikolas and I agreed on a big, formal wedding, mostly to make our families happy. He took me to the little church in the woods so we could say our vows and be married in our hearts, and it felt so sacred and perfect, Alexis. I told Nikolas how much he meant to me and how I would love him for the rest of my life. And maybe it's corny, but I believe that we were married in the eyes of God that day.

Alexis: It sounds like a perfect place to have the ceremony, Emily.

Emily: I think he would've wanted to have it there.

Monica: Uh -- Alexis, my condolences. I know how close you and Nikolas were.

Alexis: Thank you. Excuse me.

Monica: Mm-hmm.

Alan: Sweetie, don't worry about the memorial service. We'll take care of the details.

Edward: I talked to the rectory at St. Timothy’s. They said they can do the service this Saturday.

Emily: Thank you, guys, but I've already made other plans.

Ned: Alexis. I'm so sorry about Nikolas.

Alexis: Thank you.

Ned: I know how close he and Kristina had become.

Alexis: Nikolas made a point of visiting every couple of days. He would do puzzles with her, read her books. He was very sweet with her, and she loved every minute of it.

Ned: Yeah. Well, I hope this isn't going to be too tough on our little girl.

Alexis: "Our little girl"? Ned, in light of everything that's happened, forgive me for asking, but you don't literally mean "our little girl," do you?

Emily: The minute Nikolas took me inside, I knew it was perfect. Hmm, I could just picture it -- us at the altar and all of you in the pews, being part of the most important day of my life.

Monica: We love you very much.

Emily: I love you.

Mary: We were married in a little white church, very much like this one, in the Virginia hills. It was springtime. Everything was so fresh and new. You looked so handsome in your uniform. We stood in front of the minister, and we looked in each other's eyes, and we pledged our love. I'll never forget what you said to me. "I, Connor, take you, Mary, to be my wedded wife."

Emily: I'll never forget what Nikolas said to me as we were exchanging our vows. "I, Nikolas, take thee, Emily, to be my wife. I promise to give you the best of myself, to stand by your side, no matter what challenges we face. To trust you and to believe in you."

Mary: "To have and to hold as long as we both shall live."

Emily's voice: "And I promise that I will love you forever."

'Connor': Stop, stop, stop.

Mary: What?

'Connor': I'm trying -- I'm trying to remember. There's another voice in my head. There's a voice in my head.

Mary: What kind of voice?

'Connor': I don't know. It's gone.

Mary: Come on. Connor -- Connor, I'm sorry.

'Connor': Why?

Mary: Because maybe I just -- I just gave you too much information.

'Connor': No. You were talking about the happiest day of our lives, and I want to remember that. I will.

Emily: Hi. Um -- I'm going to the church to discuss some details about the memorial service.

Alan: I'll come with you.

Emily: Thanks, Dad, but I -- I just -- I'd like to go alone. It's the place where I pledged my heart to Nikolas, and I just want to stand and at the altar and feel him close to me.

'Connor': Dear God, I need your help. I've come home to my wife and the woman who's supposed to mean everything to me, and I can't -- I can't remember our -- our love. I look at her, and I feel nothing. Please, God -- please, God, help me remember what's in my heart. The rest will come. The rest will come -- the memories of our life together, the things we shared, the life we wanted. All that will fall into place if I can just love my wife again. If I can just love my wife.

'Connor': I was hoping for a miracle. I was hoping that I would just open a door. Everything that I loved -- everything would -- would just be there waiting for me.
