Stefan: My, my. I didn't expect to see you here.
Lydia: It wouldn't be the first time you were wrong.
Stefan: Is it safe for you to be here, Lydia?
Lydia: Don't try to intimidate me. I'm not afraid.
Stefan: Well, then you're as reckless as you are naive. What do you want?
Lydia: I'm here because of Nikolas. Your beloved nephew is in serious trouble.
Stefan: Where did you get these?
Lydia: They arrived in the mail this morning.
Stefan: Was there a note?
Lydia: No, and no identifiable marks of any kind.
Stefan: They don't appear to be doctored.
Lydia: They're not. Nikolas was with Emily.
Stefan: This has to stop before Nikolas gets himself killed.
Man: Mr. Cassadine?
Second man: There is a problem with your credit.
Lorenzo: Is there an update?
Capelli: Nikolas Cassadine is getting your message as we speak.
Lorenzo: What about the pictures?
Capelli: His wife found them with the afternoon mail. No return address, no postmarks.
Lorenzo: Nice work, Detective.
Capelli: So, what's next?
Lucky: I'd like to hear the answer to that.
Stefan: Our creditors are sending a message.
Lydia: By sending dirty pictures of Nikolas and his married lover?
Stefan: They want to get paid. As long as Nikolas is with Emily, he's doing nothing to conceive a child with you. And without an heir, he can't collect the inheritance.
Lydia: That's my point. There isn't going to be a child or an inheritance. Nikolas treats me like a casual acquaintance. But when Emily calls, he's out the door.
Stefan: Then maybe you shouldn't have betrayed me. There's little I can do from inside here.
Lydia: That's all you have to say? I thought that you cared about Nikolas!
Stefan: The only solution is to make Nikolas a father.
Lydia: Nikolas doesn't want anything to do with me.
Stefan: Then you have to try harder. Seduce him. Isn't that supposed to be your great talent? You give Nikolas a child, he'll let Emily go.
Emily: Hello? Nikolas?
Nikolas: Oh, God.
Lucky: You read him his rights yet?
Lorenzo: I'd like to hear the charges first.
Capelli: There's no charges. You're free to go.
Lorenzo: Question me without cause again and I'll sue the department for harassment.
Capelli: You need to learn to observe without interfering.
Lucky: But you were questioning him.
Capelli: Look, you haven't even finished the academy yet, Spencer. Things aren't always what they seem. Look, you want to be my partner, you'll learn fast. Patience and discretion make a case. Hothead mistakes can get us both killed.
Emily: All right, remind me again why we can't use the wheelchair.
Nikolas: I'm fine, I'm fine. But you just got out of the hospital, and you don't need to be back here again. Oh --
Lydia: Oh, my God, Nikolas, are you okay?
Nikolas: I'm fine, I'm fine. Oh --
Lydia: How did this happen?
Emily: I don't know. I just found him this way.
Lydia: Hello? Obviously, we need some help over here.
Nikolas: Lydia, Lydia, please don't make a big deal about this.
Lydia: My husband's had a terrible accident.
Nurse: I'll page Dr. Henry.
Emily: Okay, let's go find you a chair.
Lydia: Thanks, Emily. I can handle it from here.
Nikolas: She can stay here if she wants.
Lydia: I'm just upset. And I know how many bad memories Emily has here. I wouldn't want you to have a relapse.
Nurse: Your room is ready.
Emily: Okay, you call me if you need anything?
Nikolas: Okay, okay. Let's go.
Lydia: I'll be in as soon as I give the desk your information.
Emily: We gave it in the E.R., Lydia.
Lydia: That's okay. I just want a minute.
Emily: For what?
Lydia: I just have to know. Are you satisfied?
Emily: I don't know what you're talking about.
Lydia: Because of you, Nikolas was nearly beaten to death.
Emily: He got mugged, Lydia.
Lydia: The creditors did this because they want our money. They're putting a warning out to Nikolas to pay up, and he can't do that until he gets my inheritance. And for that, he has to make a baby with me.
Emily: I have nothing to do with that.
Lydia: You're stringing Nikolas along, Emily. It could wind up costing him his life.
Dillon: Excuse me. Somebody told me the family planning office was up here.
Nurse: It's closed for the evening.
Dillon: Okay.
Emily: Family planning, huh?
Dillon: Hey.
Emily: Hi.
Dillon: Um -- yeah, I left my cell phone. Georgie was volunteering earlier, and I'm always leaving things everywhere, so --
Emily: Right. Your phone's right there in your pocket.
Dillon:Um -- did I say phone? I meant my keys.
Emily: Hey, listen, you don't have to explain to me. I mean, I think Georgie's great, you know? And you're being safe. That's good.
Dillon: So, I mean, like, what's going on with you? I mean, are you still -- you're not back in the --
Emily: Back in the hospital? No, I'm just -- I'm here helping a friend. You know, Dillon, what you and Georgie did for my wedding -- the gondola ride?
Dillon:: Yeah.
Emily: That was amazing. Zander -- Zander and I can't thank you enough for that.
Dillon: Oh, no, no, no, no. I mean, I just -- I think it's cool that you guys have been together this long. I mean, he was, like, your high school boyfriend or something, wasn't he?
Emily: Yeah. Zander's my -- Zander's my first love.
Dillon:Did you know all along that you guys would, you know, like, last this long?
Emily: You know, I hoped we would.
Dillon: So you got your wish.
Emily: Yeah. Yeah, I guess I did.
Nikolas: Thanks.
Lydia: I called Mrs. Lansbury. She's bringing over whatever you need to the hospital.
Nikolas: No, it's all right. I'm not staying.
Lydia: The doctor thinks it's a good idea.
Nikolas: Lydia, I've been pounded into oblivion, all right? The last thing I need is for you to --
Lydia: Just tell me what you need.
Nikolas: I'd rather just be left alone, thanks.
Lydia: Don't you mean with Emily? You do realize that she's the reason that you're in here?
Nikolas: She didn't have anything to do with this.
Lydia: Think again. Pretty hot. Nothing gets a girl's attention like candid photos of her husband about to bed another woman.
Nikolas: What, are you -- are you having me watched?
Lydia: Not me. Your uncle's unhappy bankers. They want to make sure that we pay up. I imagine that they thought I could use these photos to guilt you into staying home with me at night. Too bad you couldn't care less what I think.
Nikolas: Has she seen these?
Lydia: No, but maybe she should. Nikolas, these people want their money, and they'll do anything to get it. If these photos don't prove that, then the beating should.
Lucky: I can see the honeymoon hasn't ended.
Nikolas: You -- how did you hear about this?
Capelli: He was with me when the call came in. We'll find out who's responsible.
Nikolas: I'll save you the time. I did this to myself.
Jason: We both will be.
Courtney: Well, that baby will have us in its --
Emily: Hey, Jason.
Courtney: Hey, Emily, you look great.
Emily: Thanks, thanks. I'm feeling a lot better. Hey, listen, do you mind if I steal my brother for a minute?
Courtney: Oh, no, of course. Yeah, he's all yours.
Jason: Okay, what's wrong?
Emily: Okay, Nikolas was attacked on the docks. He was hurt really badly, Jason.
Jason: Who? Who? The creditors?
Emily: They broke his ribs this time, but they could've done a whole lot worse. Jason, you have to protect him.
Jason: I'm sorry. I should've been paying more attention.
Emily: What I'm asking is huge.
Jason: I'm going to take care of this.
Emily: Listen, I don't want you to get hurt.
Jason: I'm not going to get hurt because I know who's threatening Nikolas now, and I know how to stop him.
Emily: Lydia, how's Nikolas?
Lydia: He'd be a lot healthier if you'd leave him alone. Oh, take a look. Live and in color -- the affair you're not having.
Emily: Where'd you get --
Lydia: It doesn't matter. Stay away from my husband or you're going to get him killed.
Nikolas: All right, after Lydia has a child with me, we'll get in the inheritance and then the creditors will be satisfied.
Jason: Why not cut the lender off at the source?
Nikolas: Because I don't know who they are.
Jason: I do. Lorenzo Alcazar is backing them.
Nikolas: Alc-- Alcazar?
Jason: Yeah, that's right. He's caused a lot of problems. You could be the way to get rid of him.
Lydia: You decided to stay. How are you feeling?
Nikolas: I feel like I've been lying to myself for months. That's about to change, Lydia. I've made a decision that's going to affect the both of us.
Lydia: We don't have to talk about this now.
Nikolas: I know I've hurt you. I know I've hurt you, and I'm sorry for that.
Lydia: Nikolas --
Nikolas: But I shouldn't have agreed to an arrangement I never wanted.
Lydia: We didn't have a choice.
Nikolas: Our marriage is a lie. It'll never make us happy.
Lydia: We aren't in it for the happiness.
Nikolas: Then we're both fools.
Lydia: What are you saying?
Nikolas: I'm getting an annulment. Our marriage ends today.
