Emily and Nikolas are kissing profusely, their hands are moving rapidly.
Emily: Oh, my God, we can't do this.
Emily pulls away and Nikolas cradles her face as they breathe heavily.
Nikolas: Wait, wait. See, I know that in my head, but my heart won't feel it anymore. I want you. I want you. I want to make love to you. I want to make love to you, knowing that we'll be together forever.
They kiss some more and Nikolas spins around and stops the elevator. He continues to cradle his face. Their breathing is hard and heavy.
Emily: I want you, too, Nikolas, so much.
Nikolas: Then let's stop running from it, okay? It doesn't do any good anyway. Say you'll marry me. Say you'll marry me right now.
Emily: Oh, God, you have no idea -- you have no idea how desperately I want to say yes.
Nikolas: Say yes.
Emily: But I can't.
Nikolas: Say yes.
Emily: I can't.
A replay of Luke killing Stefan and Stefan toppling over the edge of the cliffs. The camera pans to a dead Stefan lying on the ground and then Lucky runs in. He's looking for look, he has his gun drawn. He finds Stefan close to death and Stefan's last words are that Luke murdered him. Lucky says that he hopes Stefan burns in hell. Luke comes upon them and Lucky tells Luke that Stefan said that Luke murdered him.
Luke and Lucky discuss the killing, the death and the life of Stefan. Luke brings up Laura and Lucky listens. Lucky tries to save Luke and then arrests him for the murder of Stefan. He doesn't want Luke to resist and Lucky reads Luke his Miranda rights.
Nikolas and Emily stand close together in the elevator and Nikolas carresses Emily's hair as she holds his waist.
Emily: I don't want to cut corners or sneak into our marriage like a couple of thieves. When I make my vows to you, I want to know it's for all the right reasons and that I plan on keeping them forever.
Nikolas grabs Emily in a big kiss and they smile.
Nikolas: It's really irritating when you make sense.
Nikolas' cell phone rings and Emily tells him to answer it. They smile and Nikolas leans in for a kiss first.
Emily: Go ahead. Answer that. It's probably hospital security wanting their elevator back.
Nikolas: All right. Hold on. Hello?
Lucky tells Nikolas that Stefan has died.
Lucky: You need to get to Wyndemere. Your uncle is dead.
Lucky is showing Scott, with Luke in between them where Stefan is dead.
Lucky: I saw something fall from the bluffs. I arrived at the scene, and Stefan was on the rocks.
Scott: Yeah, with a knife sticking out of him.
Lucky: Yes.
Scott: Well, was he dead?
Lucky: Not quite. He managed to say one last thing.
Scott: Oh, really? What was that?
Nikolas and Emily arrive.
Scott: Spit it out, Lucky.
Lucky: Stefan said, "your father did this. Luke Spencer murdered me."
Nikolas: Was that all?
Lucky: He wanted me to tell you something before he died, but he didn't say what.
Nikolas: Is his body still on the rocks?
Scott: Yeah, but nobody's going down their until the forensic's team--hey!
Nikolas leads Emily away. >Scott continues to badger Luke and wants to know if it was worth killing Stefan for.
Nikolas and Emily reach the rocks and Nikolas approaches Stefan's body. Nikolas bends down and picks up Stefan's necklace in his hands. Nikolas sits on the rock and Emily comes up behind him and places her hands on his shoulders.
Emily: Nikolas, I'm so sorry.
Nikolas: Don't be. He deserved this. He deserved worse. I hate you. I hate you. I'm glad you're dead.
Scott continues to badger and question Luke. Luke says he isn't worried about going to jail because Scott is incapable of getting a conviction. The guards eventually lead Luke away.
Nikolas is sitting on the rock, playing with the necklace. Emily is sitting slight behind him on another rock as Lucky appears on the scene. Lucky stands behind Nikolas.
Lucky: My dad escaped. He overpowered the guards and made a run for it.
Nikolas: Good for Luke.
Lucky: I don't believe he's any threat to you. Stefan was the enemy. But you should probably be careful just in case.
Nikolas: I have no fear of Luke, Lucky. He did us all a favor, as far as I'm concerned.
Emily: Thanks, Lucky. We appreciate the warning.
Lucky: If you need anything, just, you know, ask.
Nikolas: Yeah, thank you, thank you, but I'm fine, really. Thanks.
Nikolas is very abrupt and Lucky leave. Emily is watching Nikolas with compassion and Nikolas' eyes are filled with tears. He hasn't let them fall yet. He's scaring Emily and he's showing the pain of his loss. TYLER is rocking this scene!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nikolas: Why is everyone being so careful around me like, you know, like I suffered some devastating loss or something? My uncle meant nothing to me, not after what he tried to do to you. But what I don't understand is how the MONSTER that died tonight is the same man who raised me, who taught me how to ride. Did I ever tell you that? I'm sure that I did. We used to ride together all the time.
Nikolas took a huge breath and pause, the tears still haven't fallen. He's rubbing his nose though...Emily is blinking a lot and has tears in her eyes too. Nikolas is sniffling, his nose is running a lot as the tears continue to well up during his monologue. GO TYLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nikolas rubs his runnig nose and at the end he grabs his head and breaks down in an agony of pain.
Nikolas: I remember one time, it was off the coast of Scotland. We rode out on to the beach. I think I was, I don't know, maybe 6 or so, and he told me to stay away from the water. But I was so fascinated by it. I didn't listen. And sure enough, I got rolled by a wave and pulled out into the sea. And I remember it was so cold, the water was freezing. I kept -- I kept swallowing it and swallowing it, and my clothes were -- were soaked, and it felt like dead weight, and I was trying so hard, but I couldn't -- I couldn't reach the surface. And just when I -- when I thought it was over, a pair of hands literally snatched me out of the sea. And it was my uncle. And I was coughing and -- and choking. And I was as scared as I have ever been in my whole life. But at the same time -- at the same time, I felt safe because it was my uncle, and he loved me more than he loved his own life, and he would never let anything happen --
Luke escaped from the guards and takes Syke hostage in her cottage.
