Alarm.

Man: Hey, what are you doing here?

Zander: Emily? Emily!

Man: We got to get out --

Zander: Emily! No! Emily!

Man: The ship is sinking. We got to get out!

Zander: No, you don't understand. There's a woman inside. You got to help me get her out!

Man: We got to get out of here!

Zander: Emily! No!

Man: Let's go!

Lucky: Elizabeth.

Elizabeth: Hey.

Lucky: Is it already on the news? Is that why you're here?

Elizabeth: What? What happened?

Lucky: Nikolas' ship blew up.

Elizabeth: Oh, my God.

Lucky: Yeah, he's not picking up his cell.

Elizabeth: Oh, my God, he was on that ship with Emily.

Ric: All right, the divers are en route. We've blocked off the surrounding streets. No word about fatalities either way yet. You're going to be working with Detective Beck.

Lucky: My brother was on that ship.

Elizabeth: So was Emily.

Brian:: So far they've only found one survivor -- some guy named Zander Smith.

Zander: Listen to me. Get me out of here. You've got to get me out of here, please.

Paramedic: We've got blunt head trauma.

Zander: Look, okay, I got to get out of here, okay? Audrey, is Emily here? Have you seen Emily?

Audrey: Now you just be calm.

Zander: No, no, I'm serious. Now, look, I got to get -- Emily was on that ship, okay?

Audrey:

Monica: Oh, my God!

Zander: Look, hey, you got to go find Emily. She was on the ship, okay? I'm serious.

Elizabeth: Are you sure, Zander? Did you see her?

Zander: Yes, yes, she was in a room on the hold, on the engine -- you got to get me out of here.

Lucky: Let's go, let's go.

Brian:: The divers have it covered. The boat sank.

Monica: Zander, are you sure she was on that ship?

Elizabeth: Nikolas was giving Emily a tour.

Zander: Hey, look, let me help you. Let me go help the divers find her, okay? I know where this is. It's right by the engine room, please.

Ric: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. How do you know so much about the boat?

Ric: So, how did you end up on the boat?

Zander: I heard Nikolas and Emily were out there.

Ric: Mm-hmm. Who told you that?

Elizabeth: I did. Nikolas was giving Emily a tour.

Zander: I went out there to look for Emily.

Ric: Why?

Zander: Because technically we're still married. She's dating another guy. Why are you asking me all these questions? Why aren't you out there looking for Emily?

Ric: Why don't we just cut to the chase here, Mr. Smith? You were responsible for the explosion, right?

Zander: Emily could be drowning right now. She could be hurt. Why aren't you out there looking for her? What is wrong with all of you? Go look!

Elizabeth: Shh, calm down. They're going to find her, okay? Calm down.

Lucky: Listen, I'm going to go out there.

Brian:: You'll be in the way.

Lucky: Nikolas Cassadine is my brother and Emily is one of my closest friends. I'm going.

Ric: No, no, no, no, hold on a minute. Listen, I want you to check on the street, find out if anybody knows about this. Also, locate Lorenzo Alcazar. I want to know if he's involved. See where he was tonight. You are staying here.

Lucky: No, like hell I am.

Ric: Now, just hold off, all right, Spencer?

Elizabeth: Wait a minute. Why is it a problem for Lucky to look for his brother?

Ric: Too many people are going to slow down the search. That is my chief concern.

Lucky: Okay, you know what? I'm going anyway.

Brian:: Let me check with the commissioner. You're already on thin ice.

Lucky: Okay, fine! You know what? Make it quick, all right?

Elizabeth: Will you come with me, please? What is wrong with you?

Ric: He is far too upset to be much help.

Elizabeth: Why are you being so hard on Zander?

Ric: Zander is in this up to his neck.

Elizabeth: Because he loves Emily. She could be seriously hurt or -- or --

Ric: He may be responsible -- Zander may be responsible for this. His story doesn't make any sense.

Elizabeth: Okay, but you have no right to badger him in the emergency room.

Ric: I'm doing my job, Elizabeth.

Elizabeth: Oh, God.

Ric: Are you okay?

Elizabeth: I'm fine. It's just been a really long day.

Ric: Why don't you let me get you a doctor?

Elizabeth: You know what? I'm fine. Okay, I'm just -- I'm scared. I mean, this may just be a job to you, but Emily and Nikolas happen to be my best friends. Hey.

Zander: Hey, have you -- did they hear anything?

Elizabeth: No, you know, the divers are still down there. They'll let us know, I promise.

Zander: Emily.

Knock on door.

Brian:: Port Charles police. Open the door.

Knock on door. KNOCK.

Brian:: Open the door!

Knock

Brian:: Lorenzo Alcazar? I have a few questions.

Alcazar: I can't help you.

Brian:: It's about a freighter that blew up.

Alcazar: I don't know anything.

Brian:: Where were you earlier tonight, sir?

Alcazar: Get a warrant.

Brian:: Let's start this over again. Where were you tonight, sir?

Emily: How many times are you planning to hug me?

Elizabeth: A million times. Maybe more.

Lucky: Were you two trying to scare us half to death?

Nikolas: No. It really wasn't any fun thinking we were going to die.

Emily: Yeah, well, it turned out all right -- everything that matters.

Monica: Emily? Emily!

Emily: Hi.

Monica: Oh, my God!

Emily: Hi.

Monica: Oh. Oh. Oh, it's so good to see you. What possessed you to go out on that ship?

Nikolas: I was -- I was just giving her a tour.

Emily: Yeah, we -- we got stuck in this little room.

Elizabeth: Well, why'd you get stuck in a little room?

Nikolas: The door got stuck and then we crawled out the grate --

Emily: Yeah, and I spotted the bomb --

Nikolas: The bomb exploded and --

Emily: We were thrown -- thrown clear of the ship, and --

Monica: Thrown? That water must have been freezing.

Nikolas: Yes, it was.

Emily: But the divers were nearby, so it was -- it was okay.

Monica: Oh! Being your mother is not for the faint of heart.

Emily: I'm fine, you know? I'm a little chilly, but I’m warming up.

Monica: Yes. Well I have a specialist that's going to check you out, okay?

Emily: I'm fine, but, you know, if it'll make you feel better, then --

Monica: It will, and I have to call your father.

Emily: Okay. Just tell him not to worry, all right?

Monica: I've been telling him that for years. A lot of good it's done me. Stay right there.

Lucky: Can I be a cop for a second?

Nikolas: Yeah.

Emily: Yeah.

Nikolas: Sure, go ahead.

Lucky: The bomb is the first thing you saw, right?

Nikolas: Yeah.

Emily: And then we realized the door was jammed.

Lucky: Any idea who planted it?

Emily: No, not -- not at all.

Nikolas: No. But I do know Faith Rosco wanted to transport drugs on that freighter. Her last shipment was destroyed.

Lucky: By Jason?

Nikolas: I can't be sure. I don't know.

Lucky: Okay, you know what? Faith could have been just trying to send a message that it's dangerous to defy her.

Nikolas: I'm sorry, Lucky; I wish I could be more help.

Lucky: Okay. Well, you know I have to get in touch with Mac, so the two of you stay out of trouble, okay?

Doctor: Mr. Cassadine?

Nikolas: Yeah?

Doctor: I need to make sure you're all right.

Nikolas: Okay. This won't take long.

Emily: All right. Wait a second. So, how -- how did you happen to be here? I mean, did you see the explosion on the news?

Elizabeth: Oh, no, I'm just here for a checkup.

Emily: Are you all right?

Elizabeth: Yeah, yeah, I'm fine. I've just been a little queasy and tired and I've been working way too hard. I got to go home.

Emily: Have you seen a doctor?

Elizabeth: Not yet, but I don't want to wait all night. I'm sure it's just the flu.

Emily: Yeah. That's probably it.

Elizabeth: Yeah. See you.

Emily: Okay. - Where is he

Brian:: So what happened? The housekeeper didn't show up?

Alcazar: Does the district attorney know you're here?

Brian:: You want to call him? Go ahead. He'll tell you a Cassadine ship blew up in the harbor.

Alcazar: That isn't my concern.

Brian:: Don't the Cassadines owe you money?

Alcazar: I sold the debt.

Brian:: Who'd you unload it on?

Alcazar: Faith Rosco. You have any further questions, you can contact my attorney.

Brian:: You just told me all I need to know.

Nikolas: You set that bomb, didn't you? Huh? Was it a test? Some sort of mob rite of passage or something, huh? Well, congratulations. You passed. The freighter's destroyed. I'm out of business. You remember that the next time Faith sends you to collect.

Zander: I didn't do it.

Nikolas: Did you know Emily was going to be onboard when you set that bomb? What, you were trying to be some sort of hero?

Zander: I said I didn't do it.

Nikolas: Emily almost died because of you! You almost killed us both, you little --

Emily: Nikolas, stop!

Faith: Hi. I want some information on Zander Smith.

Maxie: Are you a family member?

Faith: In a way, yes.

Lucky: Maxie, I’ll take care of Mrs. Rosco.

Faith: Ahem.

Maxie: Thank you.

Lucky: You think you're untouchable, don't you?

Faith: Oh, no, on the contrary. I love being touched. Yeah, not usually by cops, as a rule.

Lucky: You took out the five families. Now you sunk a multimillion-dollar freighter.

Faith: I have no idea what you're talking about.

Lucky: Did you know Nikolas was onboard? I doubt it. And Zander?

Faith: How is he?

Lucky: He was fine till he got tangled up with you.

Faith: A faithful employee has been involved in a tragic accident and what do I get? Accusations, snide comments.

Lucky: You know I’m going to prove that you're responsible for this. Put you in jail. Is that better?

Faith: You know, Nikolas Cassadine owes me a lot of money. He could have sunk the boat himself for the insurance.

Lucky: Oh, while he was onboard with his girlfriend?

Faith: Oh, yeah, he made it look real good, didn't he? Nobody said the Cassadines are stupid.

Lucky: A detective will be in touch with you. You'd better make sure you have your alibi ready.

Faith: Oh, wait -- no cuffs?

Emily: This won't solve anything.

Nikolas: He set that bomb and he knows it.

Zander: I don't know anything about a bomb.

Emily: Nikolas, we're alive, and that's all that matters.

Nikolas: Faith Rosco is using you and when she's finished, she's going to throw you out like she does everybody else. You set the --

Emily: Please don't tell the police.

Nikolas: Emily, I have to file a police report. I own the ship.

Emily: Can't you leave Zander out of it?

Zander: Don't do me any favors, Emily.

Emily: Look, no one was hurt. You'll get the insurance money, but Zander’s life could be ruined. Please don't tell --

Zander: I don't need you to get me out of this.

Emily: I don't care who put the bomb on the ship, even if it was you. You could have died trying to save us. You're a good person if you would just let yourself be.

Monica: Emily, the specialist is here and we're going to admit you for observation.

Zander: Okay.

Monica: Okay. Zander, whatever happened on that boat tonight, I know that you were trying to save Emily. Thank you.

Zander: You're welcome.

Nikolas: Keep pushing me.

Zander: Tell the cops whatever you want.

Nikolas: You won't like when I push back.

Faith: Mr. Cassadine, how lovely to see you again. I assume you got my message. So next time I want to do business, you'll keep it in mind.

Nikolas: Wait -- don't walk away from me. Let me tell you something, Faith. My family's been organizing vendettas since the days of wooden swords and fire-breathing dragons. It's genetic. We can't help ourselves. We always seek revenge. You remember that.

Faith: Hmm. My, my, the prince is angry.

Nikolas: Don't underestimate me and don't you ever, ever put Emily in danger again. You think my family is brutal to one another? You should see what we do to outsiders.

Zander: Thanks.

Maxie: The doctor will be with you as soon as he can. It shouldn't be much longer.

Zander: Okay. Okay.

Maxie: It's none of my business, but I think what you did is really brave.

Zander: Thank you.

Faith: Oh, my. Aren't you a busy little bee? Get out. Oh, look. You ruined your new suit.

Zander: Yeah? Well?

Faith: Yeah -- you realize the idea was to destroy the ship, not save it.

Zander: Where's the ship now?

Faith: That is not my point.

Zander: The ship's at the bottom of the harbor. Nobody got charged with murder. Nobody would even think to prove that you had anything to do with it, except for the fact that you're here.

Faith: I don't appreciate your tone.

Zander: Sorry, I can't help you with that.

Faith: And I don't appreciate you running after your little girlfriend.

Zander: Well, sorry, I can't help you with that, either.

Faith: You know what? Ahem -- you work for me now and like it or not, I pulled you back from the edge and I can push you over whenever I want. If I do, you will be in much worse shape than you are right now.

Nikolas: Hi, baby.

Emily: Hey.

Nikolas: I thought your mother was going to have a doctor check you out.

Emily: Well, even the chief of staff's daughter has to wait if it's a non-emergency.

Nikolas: Hmm. Don't pay any attention to me. I'm just going to sit here and watch you breathe for a while.

Emily: Only if I get to watch you, too.

Nikolas: Oh, come here. Hmm. I thought this would be the last thing I’d ever feel -- your hand in mine. I can't believe we almost died and -- and why? So Faith -- Faith could send a message? So Zander could prove his loyalty? You know it was him. You had to know it was him.

Emily: He didn't know we were there, Nikolas. He would have never tried to kill us.

Nikolas: I really, really don't like him. You should probably know that I -- that there is no generosity in me when it comes to him. And don't think that I feel like I’m the lucky one because I got you and Zander deserves my sympathy because he's lost and alone, because I don't. He almost killed you tonight and he almost robbed us of the future that we will have together.

Emily: But he didn't, Nikolas.

Nikolas: Yeah. My freighter's in the bottom of the harbor. I lost every chance I had to get my family out of debt, and I almost lost you.

Emily: I'm so sorry.

Nikolas: Well, don't -- don't apologize for what he did, Emily.

Emily: Listen -- I don't want to talk about Zander, okay? I don't want to talk about Zander. We're alive and that's all that matters. We're here with each other, holding each other's hands.

Nikolas: Please don't ever leave me. I don't think I would be a very good person. In fact, I think I could be -- be someone pretty terrible.

Emily: Well, then you don't know yourself very well. You're the strongest, most loving person that I’ve ever known and I'm so glad that I get to spend the rest of my life with you.
