Zander, Emily and Gia are in the park during the evening.

Zander: You have something you want to tell me?

Emily: I -- I saw you and Gia kissing, and it threw me. I know I told you to move on, but it's one thing to say it, and it's another to actually see you with someone else.

Zander: Are you kidding? Are you jealous?

Emily: Yeah, maybe a little.

Zander: Emily, you dumped me. I fought it for weeks. Then I finally start to move on and you have a problem with it?

Gia: Look, Zander, it's okay. Just --

Zander: No, no, you know, it's not okay. Emily, you made your choice. Now, don't try and expect me to make you change your mind.

Emily: I don't.

Zander: Okay, then don't come down on Gia, either. She's my friend before and after you came back, and if she and I want to be together, then it's our business, not yours.

Emily: I'm sorry. I -- I can't do this right now.

Emily is a little upset, she turns to walk away, she gets about five steps and as to grasp the wastebasket. She puts her hand to her forehead and then collapses. Both Zander and Gia rush to aid her.

Lydia laying on Nikolas shoulder on the couch in the drawing room. She gets up and Nikolas follows.

Lydia: You know what? This is a bad idea.

Nikolas: What is?

Lydia: Oh, it would be so easy to kiss you. You're an attractive man, but if i'd gotten carried away, I'd have only made you suspect that it was a part of Stefan's plan.

Nikolas: I appreciate your honesty.

Lydia: I wish we could start over. I like you, Nikolas. I've learned a lot from your example.

Nikolas: I haven't done anything that remarkable since you've been here, Lydia.

Lydia: You've shown me what I'm missing. Seeing you with Emily has made me realize that I haven't even come close to experiencing true love.

Nikolas: I'm sure it'll happen for you someday.

Lydia: Yeah, if I'm perceptive enough to figure it out when it happens.

Nikolas: I'm sure you will be. Bye.

Nikolas leaves the room, leaving Lydia to stare after him.

Zander and Gia have taken Emily to the waiting room of General Hospital. Zander helped Emily onto the couch and Emily is convincing him that she is fine.

Zander: All right, now I'm going to go get someone to page your mom.

Emily: No, I don't want her to know. She'll just get worried over nothing.

Zander: Emily, it's not nothing, okay? You passed out in the park. We got to get some doctors to run some tests on you.

Emily: It's 100 degrees in the shade, it's 90% humidity, and I already told you, I haven't eaten anything since breakfast this morning. Can you please just tell him that every woman on earth goes on a crash diet the minute she's engaged?

Zander: Well, I'm sorry. I'm not that used to bridal preparations.

Gia: Look, why don't you just go talk to a nurse, you know? She'll probably tell you you're dehydrated, you know. That way no one needs to fight about it, okay? Look -- and I'll even walk you down there to make sure you don't collapse, all right?

Emily: If it's that important to you, fine.

Zander: All right. I'll wait for you here, Gia.

Emily: I'm all right.

Zander helps Emily up and Gia leads her away.

Gia comes back to Zander who is still at the couch.

Gia: Emily's going to be a little while longer.

Zander: There's something wrong.

Gia: No, I guessed right. She's dehydrated. Maybe I should have gone into medicine instead of law. She's got so much she's dealing with -- the engagement party, her family, Summer's death.

Zander: Fighting with me.

Gia: Look, she needs some rest. Maybe we should leave her alone, you know?

Zander: Gia, I can't leave Emily here by herself. She's going to need a ride home, somebody to stay with her for a while.

Gia: Ok, fine. I'm going to head out. You know, you let me know when you got her settled, okay?

Zander: Gia, wait. I'm not talking about me, okay? I'm going to call Nikolas so he can take care of Emily.

Nikolas and Lucky on the bluffs, discussing the events of Summer's death.

Nikolas: Any luck?

Lucky: No. It seems like everybody that was working that night was deaf and blind.

Nikolas: The fog was really heavy, Lucky. You had to be right on top of Luke and Summer to see anything.

Lucky: Yeah, Em was there. I still need to check with her.

Nikolas: She'll just tell you Luke and Summer were fighting.

Lucky: Nikolas, he didn't do it. You know what? He cared about her. He understood her. He knew that she was lost and she was just hungry for a better life.

Nikolas: And scared to death of getting it, because she couldn't trust it was real. Men wanted her for everything except who she really was, Lucky.

Lucky: Where did that come from? I thought you always hated her.

Nikolas: You don't have to like someone to have compassion for them.

Nikolas' cellphone rings.

Nikolas: Nikolas Cassadine. When? All right, I'll be -- I'll be right there. That was Zander. Emily needs my help. I have to -- Man: You wanted to see me, sir?

Nikolas: My brother has some questions. Tell him anything he wants to know. Call me if you need anything else, all right?

Nikolas leaves the bluffs and the rest of the scene consists of Lucky and the Man discussing Summer's death.

Nikolas meeting Zander and Gia in the hospital by the couch.

Nikolas: What happened?

Gia: Emily collapsed in the park.

Nikolas: Is she all right?

Zander: She's just a little dehydrated. You can go and see her now.

Nikolas: Ok. Thanks for calling.

Zander: Hey, Nikolas -- I get it now. Emily and I -- it's over between us. You make her happy, she says. And that's -- that's all I ever wanted for her. So just treat her well. Emily's special. She deserves a good life.

Nikolas: Yes, she does.

Zander: And let her know that I won't be pressuring her anymore.

Nikolas: I'll tell her everything you said, Zander. Nikolas leaves and goes to see Emily.

Zander: Are you ready to go? What?

Gia: Oh, nothing. You're just amazing, that's all.

Zander: Admitting the obvious?

Gia: Zander, you didn't have to say any of that. It was incredibly loving and kind and noble.

Zander: Noble, huh?

Gia: Yeah. You're a better person than you think.

Zander: No. Just one who finally opened his eyes.
