Elizabeth has just finished speaking with Bobbie at General Hospital as Emily steps off the elevator.

Emily: Elizabeth.

Elizabeth: Hi, Em.

Emily: Hi. I'm here to visit you. My parents said that you weren't going to be released until tomorrow.

Elizabeth: Oh, yeah, well, I couldn't stand that hospital room for one more second.

Emily: Oh, I don't blame you. Do you need a -- do you need a ride someplace or --

Elizabeth: Gram left me her car. I just have to figure out where to go.

Emily: Okay. Well, at least this way you won't have to worry about running into Ric.

Elizabeth: Yeah. Yeah, he's gone. For all I know, I'm already a widow.

The girls are still standing the in the hospital, sitting on the waiting room couch.

Elizabeth: I knew who he was before. I knew who he was after he -- after he lied to Carly, after he kidnapped Courtney. But he promised me, he promised me he was -- he was finishing doing this whole revenge thing against Sonny. He promised he would never lie to me again.

Emily: Elizabeth, the guy's a pathological liar. He doesn't know how not to lie.

Elizabeth: But I believed him. So what does that say about me?

Emily: You did what you were supposed to do. Okay? You followed your heart. Don't blame yourself because Ric betrayed your trust. He's the one who's wrong here, not you.

Camera cuts back to the girls sitting on the couch. We hear a beep and Nikolas is walking past them, unseeing. He stops and walks over to them. Emily is happy and mouths "Hi" to him.

Emily: Somewhere along the line, my feelings for Nikolas have changed. It's more than just gratitude. I mean, I still love Zander, but I can't get Nikolas out of my mind.

Nikolas: Hi.

Elizabeth: Hey.

Nikolas: Looks like you're feeling better.

Elizabeth: Yeah, I guess. I'm on my way home.

The girls stand up as Zander comes upon them to stand with Nikolas. Emily and Nikolas are staring at each other and they tug at their ears.

Nikolas: Well, if you ever need anything, you know, just call me.

Elizabeth: Besides therapy? I'm fine, thanks.

Zander: I thought I would come by and take you home, surprise you. I guess your meeting ended a little bit early?

Emily: Yeah.

Nikolas: How's -- how's everything going?

Emily: Oh, it's good, good. The group's wonderful.

Nikolas: Good. I'm glad it's helping.

Emily: Yeah.

Nikolas: So, listen, I got this meeting to go to, so --

Nikolas leaves and the trio walk towards the elevator.

Emily: Okay, yeah. We don't -- we don't want to hold you up.

Nikolas: Bye.

Elizabeth: Bye.

Emily: Bye. Okay. Well, I need to eat something. Elizabeth, you want to come with us?

Elizabeth: No, thanks, guys. I'm not in the mood.

Zander: All right.

Emily: All right.

Zander: Elizabeth? What's -- I thought you were going to the first floor.

Elizabeth: Uh, yeah. I need to ask Nikolas something first, so you guys go ahead.

Zander: Okay.

Elizabeth: I'll call you later.

Emily: All right. Bye.

Zander and Emily get on the elevator and leave and Liz goes over to talk to Nikolas who is waiting near a plant.

Nikolas: Ask me what?

Elizabeth: You're in love with Emily, aren't you?

Nikolas and Elizabeth are walking through the hospital. Nikolas is using his hands again to make his point.

Nikolas: Yeah, you know, I've -- I've always loved Emily. I was her first crush, remember? We -- you remember. I'm her friend, we've been through a lot, and she's in for the fight of her life.

Elizabeth: Yeah, well, I'm not talking about friendship or concern or anything else you want to call it. You look at Emily like she's your entire --

Nikolas: What? What is this -- where is this coming from, Liz? I mean, Emily's with Zander. I would never do anything to mess that up.

Nikolas rubs his forehead and looks confused.

Elizabeth: Who are you trying to convince? Me or you?

Emily and Zander come into Emily's darkened room, she kisses him quickly and opens her window.

Emily: Mmm. Oh, no. Don't turn the lights on.

Crickets chirps.

Emily: Ah. I love the air at night this time of year.

Zander: Yeah, I love the sound of the crickets and the frogs.

Emily: Yeah. Crickets and frogs always remind me of camping out.

Zander: Good memories?

Emily: Oh, really good ones.

Zander: Any camping trip in particular?

Emily: Um, this spur-of-the-moment road trip I took with this guy I met at a party.

Zander: Oh, yeah? Who was this guy?

Emily: Oh, he's handsome and dangerous.

Zander: How dangerous?

Emily: Oh, well, he took me hostage -- not that he ever meant to hurt me. He just needed to get away, so we did.

Zander: Heading for a bridge on the Canadian border.

Emily: Yes, sleeping in barns and deserted cabins.

Zander: Taking a stolen car that kept breaking down.

Emily: Yeah. It worked really well the rest of the time.

Zander: Especially when you were driving.

Emily: Yeah, I think I did all right.

Zander: You were incredible.

Zander: Come on.

They kiss and walk over to the bed. Zander reaches for the book but Emily won't let him read it. They sit on the bed and it's a little awkward as they try to cuddle.

Emily: Oh -- no, no, no. See, I don't want you to read to me.

Zander: I thought it helped you go to sleep.

Emily: Yeah. I don't want to sleep, either. Zander, why don't you touch me? Why don't you kiss me? Is it because I'm sick?

Zander: No, no.

Emily: Look, I need you to be honest. Is it because I've got this disease inside of me? Does that make you want me less?

Zander: Emily, Iwake up every morning thinking about you. I lie awake every night missing you, wishing we could be together. I still get butterflies every time you walk into a room. Everybody else fades away. All I see is you. But with everything that's been going on, I just -- I thought you needed some space.

Emily: No. I don't want space. I want you.

Zander: That's all you needed to say.

They lean in and start to kiss.

Nikolas comes into the drawing room and picks up papers from the desk. Lydia comes down from the stairs. She's trying to get close to Nikolas and he won't have any part of it.

Lydia: It's dangerous to ride at night.

Nikolas: I'll consider myself duly warned.

Lydia: Hoping to work off some of the misery and frustration? That can only mean you bumped into Emily. Could you explain your fascination with that drooping flower?

Nikolas: Why should I explain anything to you?

Lydia: I don't know -- because we're engaged? Because we're supposed to be figuring out how to spend the rest of our lives together? This brooding prince routine is going to make for a very long, dry marriage. You want me to be faithful, but you refuse to touch me yourself. What kind of life is that? Oh, I know -- a miserable one, the kind you're used to.

Nikolas: You're actually right for once. I'm used to living in a -- in a black hole surrounded by lies and hidden agendas, so marrying you won't be an adjustment at all. It'll just be more of the same.

Lydia: Oh -- all that pent-up anger. It'd be a shame to waste it

Music plays as we have a scene of Zander and Emily having sex.

Zander: Anything I should know?

Emily: Be patient with me. I'm -- I'm a little nervous.

Zander: Okay. Anything else?

Emily: No. Nothing else.

Zander: I love you.

Emily: Show me.

Nikolas and Lydia are in the drawing room.

Nikolas: You think if we -- if we sleep together, there will be some storybook ending to all this? You know, I'll be there to comfort you, you'll be there to comfort me, happily ever after -- blah, blah, blah -- like we were meant for each other, loved each other all along?

Lydia: You never know if you don't try.

Lydia leans in and kisses Nikolas and Nikolas gets a little rough and grabs her...they kiss and he pulls her around. The highlight of this scene was Nikolas pulling off his shirt, although they covered Tyler's tattoo's and watching him bed over so we could see the waistband of his briefs.
