A dirty little secret could land GENERAL HOSPITAL's Nikolas behind bars this month. Worse yet, the person wielding the damning information just happens to have a major grudge against him! Will Emily be caught in the middle when her beau and his double go to war?

Connor Blackmails His Enemy
As November begins, a scuffle between Nikolas and Connor results in Mary's widower being taken to the hospital with a bullet wound. Before slipping into a coma, the injured young man tells a cop that he witnessed Nikolas pushing Helena off the bluff. Unfortunately for Connor, that cop happens to be Lucky, who agrees with Nikolas that it might be better for everyone if GH's latest patient never woke up!

Sitting by the unconscious man's beside, Emily tries explaining why Nikolas did what he did. Meanwhile, Lucky comes up with a way to get Connor out of town and proposes it to Nikolas. Although Nik nixes the suggestion, Lucky decides to go through with it anyway, completely unaware that Emily overheard his plan. Still by Connor's side when he awakens, she acts quickly to help him avoid falling into the trap set by Lucky.

Niolas and Lucky assume that Connor kidnapped Emily -- until she returns to GH and fills them in on a few basic facts. But it appears Emily has a surprise in store as well, for when she and Nikolsa return home, there's a certain someone waiting there!

In need of a place to lay low as well as a means of escape once he's fully mended, Connor proves himself a practical guy by suggesting that he and Nikolas work out a little deal which will benefit both of them.

"This is a guy who is a survivor," previews Tyler Christopher (Nikolas/Connor) of the war vet. "He's one of those guys that if you saw him in a bar, you'd know just by looking at him that you probably didn't want to mess with him. He has that energy to him. Don't [wake] a sleeping bear, you know what I mean? He's quiet to the point of 'This guy could really snap at any second.'"

Connor Kisses Emily!
Once alone with Emily, Connor opens up about his war experience and the unbearable guilt of causing a friend's death while on duty in Iraq. Emily offers him a comforting shoulder to lean on... just as Nikolas returns. After smoothing out her guy's ruffled feathers, Emily provides Connor with a little insight into his late whife's unraveling. Connor is so comforted by Emily's words that he gives her a kiss!

"Connor was very much in love with his wife," says Christopher. "Everything that Mary said about him was true. He was the love of her life. And Emily senses that. She can see inside him, into the man that Mary loved. But," the actor continues, "he has a very set plan on how he's going to get revenge on these two people. He really tries to stick to that until he realizes that, although he's capable of killing and has, he can't kill an innocent woman... but he can get revenge in other ways."

With Mac closing in on the truth, Connor pulls a fast one on the cop and later goes to desperate lengths in order to remain at Wyndemere a bit longer. Sharing in a special event in someone else's life leaves Nikolas and Emily determined to live their life to the fullest. But that may be tough to do when they are continuously butting heads over a certain houseguest!

By the middle of the month, Connor is making a bold move, only to find himself soundly rejected. But just how far will a fed-up Nikolas really go to get Connor out from under foot?
