GH's Nikolas Learns The Truth

This week on GH, Nikolas gets a rude awakening when Mary accidentally reveals the truth to him. "She tells him everything," previews portrayer Tyler Christopher. "And then all hell breaks loose."

You can say that again! As the week begins, Alcazar tells a suspicious Nikolas a phone story about Nik's past with Emily. Hurt and betrayed, the amnesiac takes it out on Em, who still doesn't mention that he is really Nikolas. "She lied to him," Christopher states. "It doesn't matter what the motivating circumstances were; a lie is a lie to him." From there, Nikolas finds Mary, who calls her husband by his real name after overdosing on sleeping pills.

Once awake, Mary comes clean to a shocked Nikolas. "It can only be described as a surreal disbelief," the actor says of what goes through Nik's mind when he learns the truth."It's so bizarre - how could something like that actually be true? But as he starts putting everything together, it all adds up and makes sense for Nikolas."

But that doesn't make it right. In fact, Nikolas lashes out... big-time. "He is furious at Mary and Emily; being lied to angers him," shares Christopher. "It's really sinking in - who he is - and the frustration that comes out of that is even more frustrating than not remembering. He is outwardly angry at everybody and punishing people emotionally."

Look for Nikolas to make a surprising move. "He starts to shut people out, which he has never done before," Christopher notes. "It's very uncharacteristic compared to how Nikolas has been in the past, but it's very much a part of him. He is heading in a different direction by starting to explore the Cassadine tendency toward the dark side."
