Nikolas is charged with the murder of Cody this week on General Hospital, thanks to Zander

"Nikolas is caught in a real vice where he is innocent but all the evidence points to him," explains assistant head writer/story editor Elizabeth Korte. "He had motive. Cody was a con man who was working on Nikolas' staff. He lied to Nikolas and tried to steal the treasure. Plus, a lot of circumstantial evidence points to Nikolas."

So when he's called in for questioning, Nikolas isn't suprised. "Nikolas is angry, because he's been framing," says Korte. Yes - by Zander, who used his leverage over Ric and Elizabeth (Zander is the father of Liz's baby) to get Ric to do his dirty work and incriminate Nikolas.
