Natalia Livingston joined General Hospital on April 1, 2003 in the role of Emily Bowen-Quartermaine. Natalia was born on March 26, 1976 in Pennsylvania, but grew up in Macon, Georgia and considers that her home.

Natalia is the oldest of two children, her brother, Jimmy is a couple of years younger. Natalia's mother is Martha, is Mexican and an artist and Spanish teacher. James, Natalia's father, is a family physician and in his free time spearheads an organization called "For the Sake of Humanity," promoting cultural diversity. Growing up, Natalia spent her summers visiting her maternal grandmother in Guadalajara, Mexico. Natalia speaks fluent Spanish and always knew that she wanted to be an actress.

However, knowing that goal, Natalia pursued a different career path after being instilled with a love and appreciation for all people and life in general. In 1998, Natalia graduated from Emory University with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Social Work. While in university, Natalia took every acting class available and also starred in several plays. After graduating, she interned in social work and discovered that the field wasn't for her. Packing her bags, Natalia made the giant move out to Los Angeles to pursue her dream career.

Natalia was eventually discovered in a "Home Depot" working in the garden department. With her fluency in the Spanish language evident, she quickly landed five Spanish McDonald commercials. Natalia continued to study her craft, graduating from the North Carolina School of Arts and acting in four plays before landing her current job on General Hospital.

Enhancing her acting career, Natalia also studied dance and ballet for twelve years growing up. In her free time, Natalia enjoys spending time with friends, going to plays and movies, going to the beach and hiking. Currently in the works, Natalia is also involved in some upcoming movie productions and plays in association with 68 Cent Crew.
